I had just finished off all the Arena opponents... Flying back to the gate, accidentally flew too close to the arena wall, and got stuck!

I should have known better than to fly too close dry.gif

But thats not the worse thing... I self destructed, cause I had insurance... So, cruiser shows up, processes my claim... deposits my new ship right inside the arena wall!!! angry.gif

The only thing that saved my laptop keyboard being banged in frustration was that the cruiser was stuck too. blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif

Oh well, guess I'll just resurrect.

huh.gif ohmy.gif sad.gif Anyone wanna guess where I resurrected?

I don't know whenever I am in the arena and I am not overpowered for the system the stronger opponents (the missle ship and the last ship) often get stuck on the walls.

Ouch!!!

I've made a fix so that if you die, the arena doors open to let you out. Also, I made a fix so that you can never get resurrected stuck inside a wall. Now I just need to make it harder to get stuck...

I just died the other night in a horrible manner. I was flying on autopilot across the system when my friend started talking to me. i turned to talk to her and completely forgot about the game. My ship drifted into the depths of space. I turned my ship and fired my thrusters for a split second when i wasn't exactly 180 around yet. Never saw the system again.

So...you just got lost? Cool. I've made ships with insanely high max speed and really low thrust that I've done that in...thrust while on autopilot, and then you can't slow down enough to get back...

Hookoa! I am this forums resident necromancer! How dare you revive a post without my express written permission? *glowers*

Begin with a function of arbitrary complexity. Feed it values,
"sense data". Then, take your result, square it, and feed it back
into your original function, adding a new set of sense data.
Continue to feed your results back into the original function ad
infinitum. What do you have? The fundamental principle of human
consciousness.

Yeah. I got really lost. I tried my best and did some coasting for maybe five minutes to try and find the system. I was mad because I hadn't saved, and I had just finished wiping the system clean. I was on my way to the exit gate.

<getting lost>

Just stay still and wait for a random enemy to come attack you. Head back the way it came.
