Dogs of War - scenario, game starting soon, new scenario - test play soon

Hey all,

I've written a team game: 3 vs. 3 scenario for anacreon, called "Dogs of War."


It's different from a lot of other scenarios in that there is a moderator
(empire 1) who sets up the game, and places certain scripted events in motion for the players. Having a moderator allows the game to begin, with all of the actual participants on an equal footing - none of whom have ever seen the map (at least for the first time they play it). Everything is a total surprise for everyone, adding to the excitement.

There are a couple of little mysteries to solve too, and the team that solves them first, has an advantage in the outcome of the game.

By design, it can end very early in the game if players make fatal mistakes, but it is most likely to end within around 35 turns or so, even with experienced players on both sides.

It would be fun to start a test game within the next few weeks, if there is enough interest.

Because I think that a part of the fun in playing this particular scenario is not knowing what is out there, and not knowing what is about to happen, I will request anyone playing it, to agree not to reveal anything about the scenario to other anacreon players who are not participating in the game, and who haven't had a chance to play it yet.
