Title: Welcome to the Fan-Fiction Section

Here, in the fan-fiction section of UTF, you may post stories of your adventures in Transcendence.

Fan-Fiction Guidelines:

1) Don't post things like:
Went to a Charon Pirate Cahe, then blew it up. Brought loot back to a station. Then did it again.
Instead, make a more flowing story, like this:
Trellis Nor, a notorious smuggler, decided, after his incarceration at Starton Station, to try more legal methods to acheve riches. After delaying for a short while at Starton Station to refuel his newly bought Sapphire-class starship, Trellis went pirate-hunting.

In Human Space, it is perfectly legal to destroy already illegal starships and stations. In fact, it is encouraged.

So, Trellis searched; and he soon found what he sought. A pirate cache, orbiting a small uninhabited planetoid.

Three Corsair-class vessels rushed out to meet him, laser cannons blasting. The cache itself supported their fire with a constant stream of laser blasts. They concentrated fire on one side, and the outer armor layer on Trellis' starboard broke.

Trellis' recoilless cannon ripped into a Corsair, shattering it's armor. The Corsair quickly turned to cosmic dust.

More laser blasts streamed forward at Trellis, but his reflector kept them at bay. Trellis' Sapphire turned and unleashed a rain of recoilless cannon shots at another Corsair, and it, too, blew apart.

Within ten seconds, the third Corsair was damaged beyond repair, a floting wreck. Still, the pirate's cache continued to fire, however. Trellis' ship whirled, and sent a torrent of fire into the pirate's base. The base was somewhat better armored than the Corsairs, but it, as well, fell to Trellis' superior weaponry, armor and shielding.

After getting suited in a vac-suit, Trellis endeavored to explore the burnt out pirate cache.

The cache had a ROM biosoft within, and a damaged laser cannon. Trellis attempted to install the boisoft, but it burned out, as his Sapphire already had an autopilot feature. Too bad . . . , Trellis thought. Undocking with the cache, he skillfully sped his Sapphire-class near the wrecked Corsair, and engaged docking maneuvers.

However, he did find something worth while in the Corsair; a functioning laser cannon!

Leaving the wreck, after finding nothing further, Trellis spun his Sapphire and returned to Starton Station, to trade with the merchants there. The laser cannon will fetch a tidy sum of credits, he thought greedily. This incursion bodes well for the future . . . dealings.

Feel free place reviews and comments of stories in this thread.
