this is just sad. I expect that whoever wrote it must have English as a second language and that they have been taught by British speakers of English perhaps as they mention that Strider and Gandalf "had tea" before they went to bed as well as answering "Yes please" to a question. There are also so many other phrases that are almost but not quite right, like "long time see" and "whats a matter". I also noticed the phrase from star wars: "I feel it too."
Maybe this person has learned English from films?
I have met people who are actually learning English from playing LOTRO on an English speaking server. Hahahaha! So they may write one day, "Okies, c ya l8ers m8!" Oh my. I don't know how they cope!

Actually, though hilarious, and cute because of the writing, this is how writers start out. My grandson's first story (written when he was 10) was created in all seriousness but was very amusing to anyone able to read it. I think you are right though Olóte, it seems written by a person who does not use English as a first language. The funny parts are not that problem however, it's lack of knowing the rules and spelling.

I read and listened to it again, and once again it caused me to laugh out loud many, many times. 1087.gif

That was hilarious!! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
I just love those never ending sentences.
We have to remember, that if we want our stories to be played out "someday.. maybe" if they are good enough, to remember that the actors have to be able to breath. LOL

I know when I write that I have to remember NOT to do run-on sentences and make things sound like that. But when we type or write things out we forget that people have to breath and pause and listen as well.

Okay, enough of me rambling on..
Thanks for the post Glorfindel!
Post more funnies. smile.gif
