The lupine shifted, creating a small shuffling sound, as it grew restless. She huffed impatiently. A trickle of water slid down the wall beside her, it's trickle into the puddle below it loud in the oppressing silence that engulfed her. She was positively sure isn't wasn't as bad across the cave, where warm bodies and soft breaths surrounded each other, delaying such silence. Cana could only here the occasional shifting of a body as a canine dreamed. Her head fell onto her front legs as grey occs examined the cave's contours once again. She let herself imagine little pattern's in some spots. A mother wolf and her pup running along a plain, running from something, or just enjoying time. The bulky wolf form of her father as he lay, dying in the cold snow one terrible night when she was free. She was just a pup when it happened. The memories englufed her, letting Cana be free from herself for a little while.

[Cinder]

Cinders silver orbs snapped open in the comforting darkness of the drafty cavern to see the glow of anothers occuli. The dim lighting alowed him observe the faded outline of another near the cave entrance. how uncomfortable it must be over there... mind thought sorrowfully. Why is that one not over here with the rest of us? dome rose from its former resting place upon his ebony towers and tilted slightly, auds absorbing the sounds that washed in from all around. As he gazed at the figure, mind finally resolved to fix the mishap. Fully rested, mass rose to its full hight, towers and muscles streaching breifly before moving anywhere. With a breif yawn, maw snapped shut and Cinder proceded over to the restless form. With a deep inhalation of the scent, he realized it was a fae that stared back at him. Drawing closer, he dipped his dome in a polite greeting and addressed the lovely femme, "Hello m'lady. I couldnt help but notice you are all alone and in a rather undesirable position currently. May I inquire as to why that is? It seems an odd thing to practice when you are more than welcome to sleep with the rest of us. " He gazed at her with a grin upon his handsome facade and with a kind laugh and a wink added, "Really! I dont bite! much..." haunche sank to the surface placidly, awating the wild faes response.

The voice snapped Cana out of her daydreams. A male was standing before her, his face radiating confidence and politeness. I'm not practicing anything, she said, sadness slightly thickening her tone, but it evaporated as soon as it came. I just... prefer to be alone at night I guess. And during the day. Shoulder's rose and fell in a shrug. And it's not undesirable. I rather like being near the open air. Her head never left its position, her eyes continued to gaze at the wall, apart from the small glance at him when he approached. The truth was, she just didn't care anymore. She didn't care what she acted like, whether people hated her, whether people liked her, didn't care what people said, didn't care if she was made fun of right in front of her, nothing. What point was there to live if there was nothing to live for?




eh, I didn't really know what to write. xD so, I came up with that tidbit of 'not caring'. And the truth is, Cana really doesn't. She's been depressed ever since the humans killed her mother and father. P: haha, wow. it's depressing me.]

Coming back from the forest with the remains of the deer in her mouth she spotted Cana and Cinder outside the cave, happy to see them she bounded over to them with a spring in her step.
Stopping next to cinder she dropped the deer Just caught this, thought i'd bring it back so everyone can have something to eat nudging the deer into the middle she invited cana and cinder.
So what are you two talking about she said with an inquisitive look on her face.

[Cinder]

Ebony auds absorbed the wolven faes lyrics as they answered his inquiries. No emotion... there was nothing behind them... He found his confident gaze melt into one of sadness and confusion. How could any creature be this empty? His utter depression evaporated as Ranger returned, a very welcome scent acompanying her. The suave grin returned as dome tilted adorably over his shoulder to gaze at the femme. He smiled joyfully at her and lyrics addressed her, "Ranger! Welcome back! and what a wonderfull catch it was. Thank you so much!" he turned to bend close to the carcas and inhaled its savory scent gratefully. He turned to look back at her, sincerity evident in his expression, silver orbs twinkling as harmonix added, "I owe you one." he grinnded and winked, then turned back to the meat. Maw began to salivate and he suddenly realized how hungry he really was. With one finnal breth, he dug in ravenoulsly, though trying not to appear like a complete pig infront of the lovely faes, (his mother had taught him some maners after all). Still, he was famished and tore the flesh furvishly from the bone, enjoying the sound the ripping sinew made. Ahh, the basic pleasures in life.

Cana sniffed the air, barely turning her head. Deer. What a wonderful animal to eat, the fresh meat. Her eyes watched Cinder eat without really seeing anything. Thanks, Ranger, she murmured, sounding detached from her body. Was that really her? Did Cana really sink that low already? The lupine made no attempt to move foward and eat a piece, though she really did appreciate Ranger carrying the heavy carcass back. She shifted again, so that her back was more towards the wall and her face was closer to the other canines in front of her. Grey orbs blinked once as the light outside the cave grew steadily brighter.

thats alright turning and walking a few paces away from the carcass she layed down in the sun, thinking why does cana always seem so sad when the rest of us are so happy to have the company of each other is it us? Have we done somethink to upset her, I hope not thoughts like this raced round her mind so many questions she would like to ask but she kept them to herself, with a big sigh she got up and decided to go for a walk as she had not yet explored her new home, looking back at the other dogs I'm juts going to go have a look round the island, feel free to come with me if you want her blue eyes searching the other 2 dogs, slowly walking on so cinder or cana could catch up easily if they were coming she padded of in the direction of the meadow wondering what she was going to find.
