Well it seems as if that Corocoro has gave us new information on the upcoming Silver and Gold remakes! It looks like not only starters can follow you, but other Pokemon can as well. This means that all 493 Pokemon can follow your trainer, but Steelix, Kecleon, and Wobbufet are the only ones shown other than the three beginning starters.

As you see above the box art has also been confirmed. On the picture above you may see a small Pokeball with a screen on it. That is called the Pokewalker, so you can transfer your own Pokemon from your own copy of the game onto it to make it more friendlier, or go on it's own adventure.

Team Rocket also has... PINK HAIR! WOO! And it seems as if Cynthia and Arceus will be coming back. All the legendary Pokemon seems to be catchable in this game after beating the Elite Four.

On May 10th, Pokemon Sunday revealed new Pokemon installations, titled Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver. These two new DS games are remakes of the original Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver and are scheduled to hit Japan stores this fall (rumored to be September).

HOLY PIE! *stares at the Gold Boxart* I..Am surely going to get Gold now! I love it!

The Pokewalker sounds like an awesome udea to me! Does it come with the game or is it in the game itself?

Comes with the game, hence the bloated box. o.o

*looks at box again* ..Oh I see, I get it now. (I was wondering why the box was thicker but I just thought thats how they were just made) Still though I'd make sure about the Pokewalker thing though. xP But since it comes with it, it sounds even better to me. With that, anybody can take their Pokemon on-the-go! (I think I might put Totodile in there once I get Gold x3 )

Oh, Lugia. You and I will be reunited once again. So, is every single Pokemon obtainable in this? And I wonder if you'll be able to travel to the other countries in this game. In the original, you could travel to Kanto, so maybe in this you can travel to Hoenn and Sinnoh too? That'd be awesome.

I just hope that it won't be the last Pokemon game or anything. I would be more than upset, but it is just a remake. Who knows. Nintendo can be working on a 5th generation title! Let's see what happens. It would be amazing if you could go to the other reigons, but I highly doubt it.

Considering it's a remake, I think it's safe to say we'll be getting to go back to Kanto, but now I'm wondering if the Sevi Islands will be included? ?_?

And it's highly unlikely that we will ever get a game involving every region, that's simply too much work and too much data for one little cartridge.

Emerald, how pessimistic! D: Even if they aren't going to make a new generation, they can still keep on making games. Like pokemon battle revolution for example. There are plenty of ideas Nintendo could come up with to keep the series going, so chin up! (Lol, I said chin up)

I like the pokewalker gadget. I would wanna take a single pokemon anywhere I go! I wonder what kinds of mingames or whatever you can play on it? Maybe it just measures jolts, like a step counter that you strap to your leg. =p Either way, it's pretty awesome!

At first I wanted the SoulSilver Version...but now, seeing the box art, I want HeartGold! I already have $30 bucks on hand...I'LL SAVE UP AND GET BOTH!! =D

OH!!! I just though of something...do you think the GTS will be in HG/SS? Also,(Acording to a picture on Serebii of the whole region) I think there is going to be another battle frontier. If you find the time to look at that pic, look just left of Cianwood city. Take a CLOOOOOSE look at those buildings...looks like it, huh?

Of course, the whole idea of going to Kanto makes the whole game for some people(Me included) because it provides a new challenge after the Elite Four, you get to battle Red, and it provides for a way to "start a new game" without losing your pokemon, since you get to battle the Kanto Gym Leaders.

Well, I have soul Silver...all I can say is this...

I was in tears at the beginning. Such good memories came flooding back and hearing New Bark's town theme just made me bawl. Anyways, im choosing my starter! I Choose you! TOTODILE!

I can't read Japanese. ;_; I'm waiting for the English version. I'm so hyped about it. And Totodile is gonna be my starter too! Totodile is my favotire water-type of them all! So cute and so cool at the same time. After that my favorite Water-types are the rest of Toto's family and Gyarados.

I managed to get my hands on SoulSilver as well. I'm only gonna use it until I hear all the new battle music up to the first gym leader. Of course, I want the pokeStep thing that comes with it, right?
I've gotta say, They remade everything 100% as well, plus another 100%! It's almost as if they remade crystal version...only with even MORe new stuff...plus more...

One point of interest though- First, lemme explain that I'm currently learning Japanese. Like, Officialy. I'm using that Japanese coach game for the DS. Anyway, onto the point.
In Japanese, there are two writing systems: Hiragana, and Katakana. It's sort of like print and cursive in english...only they don't seem to have any simularities. =p
Anyway, I've noticed that they're fusing K with H(They are long words to type out XD) in a sort of "Fused" manner. Like, all of the pokemon names are in K, while the actual text is in mostly H. Also, there's no use of Kanji(Basically characters that mean longer sounds than normal; comparable to "Fancy-Writing" in the US, but not really. XP) in the games text. I've played a lot of Japanese games, mostly ones that weren't released in America, and pretty much all of them have used kanji.

You know, I guess this is only interesting to people who kinda know Japanese. O_o But it is lulzy to me.

Of course, I chose Chikorita. My faves poke of all time! :152: Hmm...I guess it's not that I don't like the other starters, it's just that a certain one appeals to me more than the others, and it makes them look bad to me. XD I still can't decide on a first-gen favorite, though...
