So this started out as a Battle TOwer team, but when I made it I began to think 'why stop there?' Thus, this team was born!

Gallade.png @ Life Orb (Physical Sweeper)
Steadfast
Adamant
236 HP/252 Atk/20 SDef
Close Combat
Psycho Cut
Night Slash
Thunder Wave
Weak- Flying, Ghost

Gallade was the first Pokemon I decided to have on the team. He's got alright coverage, but Weavile does pretty much the same (if not better) job. T-Wave supports the entire team, slowing down the opponent (Not that many on the team need it).

Manectric.png @ Wise Glasses (Special Sweeper)
Static
Timid
252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Thunderbolt
Flamethrower
Hidden Power (Grass)
Thunder Wave
Weak- Ground

Manectric is my main attacker, only just infront of Weavile. T-Bolt gives STAB, Flamethrower covers Grass, Bug, Ice and Steel really well. Hidden Power deals with Ground and Rock types that resist T-Bolt and Flamethrower (Expecially with a lot of Water/Rock, Water/Ground and Rock/Ground types). Another T-Wave for even more chance of being faster, in case I'm not using Gallade or he gets struck down.

Weavile.png @ Expert Belt (Physical Sweeper)
Pressure
Jolly
252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Hp
Ice Punch
Night Slash
Brick Break
Swords Dance
Weak- Fighting, Rock, Bug, Steel, Fire

Ah, here we are. The main source of power. One Swords Dance and Weavile can sweep almost anything. It can OHKO a Dragonite without any HP or Def EVs without a Swords Dance. Ice Punch and Night Slash are STAB with a nice coverage. Brick Break deals with the Rock and Steel types which are slower than Weavile (most are) because those types can deal some great damage on Weavile with its poor Defense stat.

Gliscor.png @ ??? (Physical Wall)
Sand Veil
Impish
252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Taunt/Stealth Rock
Roost
Weak- Ice, Water

My Wall. Weak to a few things, but they common Ice types can pack a punch. Plan here is to Stealth Rock so if the opponent were to switch into an Ice type they'd get a nice hit, also scares the opponent from swithing. EQ gives a wide range of coverage and also gets STAB, Roost is a great healing move since t actually reduces Gliscor's 4x weakness to Ice for a turn so with some nice prediction, GLiscor may survive an Ice attack.

Scizor.png @ Leftovers (Baton Passer)
Swarm
Impish
252 HP/112 Def/144 Spd
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
Substitute
X-Scissor
Weak- Fire

My main source of support. Set up a Sub and then Swords Dance before passing it off to someone else. X-Scissor is a nice little STAB move to combat any Grass types that try to do some setting up of their own. Not much more than a Sub-Passer

Yanmega.png @ Focus Sash (Special Sweeper)
Speed Boost
Modest
252 SAtk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Protect
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Shadow Ball
Weak- Fire, Flying, Rock, Ice, Electric

My last Pokemon. I needed the help of a Flying type for the rather often occurence of Heracross (Since this team may still be used in the Battle Tower). Protect the first turn to get a nice boost in speed before beginning the sweep! Shadow Ball supplies a Special Ghost move that can hit the more Defense orientated Ghosts and Psychics. Bug Buzz can also hit the Psychics and gets a STAB. Air Slash is another STAB move and can hit a fair few types.

Yeah... Somethings need fiddling and tweaking but the generally idea was a team of faves, although Houndoom is a sub and not actually on the team sad.gif

Wow! That's a good team as far as staying immune to most types. It does seem a tad weak to Fire and Ice, But altogether it's a great team.

I like the substitute-swords dance-baton pass combo to pass on the stats to the next pokemon. Plus the X-Scissors Is useful in case the substitute dosn't wear off before you're done using Swords Dance.

The Manectric has a lot of Great moves, but seeing as it's special ability is Static, I don't think you need Thunder Wave, even if Gallade gets KO'd.

speaking of Gallade, he has a nice moveset as well. Thunder Wave is good for impeding Flying types for awile, but other than that, a flying type could probably take him easily, espesially if it was faster to begin with.

Any weaknesses certain pokemon have which are not taken care of already can be taken care of my the simple pokemon switch, unless the opponent used stealth rock too, but with all the other moves out there...=p

This team is good, so I'll give it an 8/10. Good job! just needs a little tweaking I think.

Hmm yeah, didn't think of that with Manectric's Static. What do you suggest to shove in there? Although Thunder Wave could help with any special sweepers, like a Yanmega or Houndoom.

I just have to avoid switching Gallade into a possible Flying type, but even then I have three Pokemon who can take it out. Althoguh Aerial Ace is very common nowadays...

Thanks! So what do you advise to tweak?

Hmm, well, you could replace Scizors' X-Scissor attack for a Steel type move that raises defense, seeing as Weavile dosn't have the best Defense in the world. But then, It would work for anything as far as passing on the raised defense, so that might work. although I think Iron Tail is the only Steel move that raises defense, and maybe Steel Wing, but I don't think Scizor can learn either of those...maybe an attack stat raising move if all else fails. A move that raises stats would be useful considering he's a support pokemon. That way, you raise your stats for the impending Baton Pass while doing damage. =p
Just a few thoughts.

Hmm, yes. I'll see what he can get. Then again, the chance of the stat being raised is never 100% so a few hits would need to be used before gaining the stat and passing it.

You're thinking of lowering defense, Iron Tail lowers the opponent's defense. However Steel wing does have a chance to raise it. Scizor can learn it though. It has 90% Accuracy though and that could be a nuisance.
Iron Defense can raise te defense however the problem arises of no attacking moves. I think it may be best to just stick with it and go for a sweep instead of worrying about defense... If the Pokemon have higher attacks then maybe tey'll be able to knock out an opponent before its too late?
