Kavalar got into the cockpit of his Delta 7 Jedi Starfighter. The Jedi Master switched on the primers for the repulsor lifts. The repulsors buzzed when they were primed. He then kicked the pedal and his repulsors softly lifted the craft from the ground. Kavalar then switchted on the primers for the thrusters and engines. His astromech droid R3 D1 beeped and buzzed when the engines and thrusters primed. The Master Jedi pushed a small button to inject fuel into the thrusters. When that was finished he lifted up the blue cap to the ignition button. The starfighter started to move and he pulled up on the flight flight sticks and blasted up.

He soon was above Hapes. The Jedi Master squeezed the throttle triggers and blasted out of the orbit of the planet. His mission was to patrol the planet and stop the smuggling operations as best as possible until he could get proof that there were any. There had been rumors that the smugglers were helping the Vong and the Imperial reminant. Kavalar was there to get proof. The Jedi cruised for the time being, he waited patiently like a cat waiting for its prey.
