Raze, as he was now prevalantly known, walked hunched into Geba the Hutt's palace. IT was dark, damp, and dirty. There were mercenaries, and generally scum everywhere. He was offered an escort to Geba, but he refused.

He walked into the palace, totally silent and said to Geba "Your highness. I would like to collect the bounty on a Biggba Kazawaki here." The slug responded with: "Where is he? I do not see him!" Raze opened up half of his cloak and he pulled out the head of a correllian. He then spoke "He is here." There was a loud "oooh..." and whipers from the rest of the palace. And then Geba spoke. "Very nice...very nice indeed. 70,000. No more." Raze thought for a second and then spoke. "90,000. Take another look. This is art, not just another head. " He bowed slightly. Geba spoke, his voice booming. "Hmm...It IS beautiful..." there was a pause until he spoke again, "80!"
Raze thought, and spoke. "I want 85. No less." Bowed again. There was another long silence. "Okay...see my majordomo to collect! I like you.." Raze bowed, and then retreated into a corner, where he was surprised to see...

He stood there, hunched. The force was weak in him, now, because it required living things, skin, muscle tissue, blood to feel the force. And now his body was mostly machine. However, he could feel Ben's presence anywhere. He slowly turned his head to look at Ben.
And people said Raze didn't feel emotion...he felt one emotion. When he looked at ben, he felt it. Satisfaction.

Ben knew who it was under the metallic skin, but he didn't care, he wasn't the reason he was here.

Raze was a strategist. He knew it would be stupid to finish what he started right now. The hutt may not like that. Raze always hated Hutts. The way he saw it, they were as useless as they were lethargic. He figured Ben would be pleased to know he had killed AT LEAST 30 Jedi since he became a cyborg.

Ben had caught the thoughts from Raze but he didn't care. He unfolded his arms (one a cybernetic arm) and walked away.

"Did you know him?" Raze asked to Ben as he was walking away, referring to the man's head he just brought in. "He was a Jedi."

Master Fithnen O'looral walked calmly to stand in front of the Hutt, a pair of monstrous Gamorreans on either side of him. Slowly, he removed his hood, and looked into the crimelord's eyes.
The slug spoke in Huttese. "[What thing is this that brings a Master in front of the great Geba?]" The Jedi in front of him bowed, then swept his hand to the severed head of the Jedi Biggba.
"Oh great Geba the Hutt. It displeases me that one of our own would rouse your wrath in such a way to provoke violence." Geba cut the man off with a chuckle.
"[Then the Master comes for revenge on Geba?]" Fithnen bowed again.
"That is not our way. Rather, I come to buy back the remains of Biggba, that he be put to rest in our custom. I offer you what you paid for the bounty, 70,000 credits"
ooc:(does not know Raze brought the price up to 85k)
Geba chuckled scornfully, and the fawning sycophants scattered dabout the room burst into laguhter as well.

Raze did not laugh. This was not funny to him. But, figured that the Jedi knew who killed the other jedi. Haha! Another Jedi. He wouldn't kill this one, as he did the other dozens. Who would want the head of a Jedi? Surely this jedi came here for more than a head of a dead man? He must be the one the order sent to investigate the jedi killings, as they surely would have sent one.

Fithnen let the laughter roll about him. It was not his place to end it. Geba finally stopped laughing. "[You are presumtuous, Master Fithnen. This one has cost me 85,000 credits. Besides, I believe he will look good adorning my wall.]"
Fithnen tucked his hands in his sleeves. This would take a hefty chunk out of his personal credit account back on Coruscant, but...
"100,000 credits, Greba. You are wise and merciful. Therefore let your decision be just as wise and merciful." Greba turned suddenly serious at the mention of such a sum. Finally, he waved a small hand dismissively.
"[It will be done. But let no Jedi come pleading before me again, for your whines bring me a headache. Begone.]"
Fithnen bowed again, breathing an inward sigh of relief.
The JEdi Master paused, feeling something...unnatural...was watching him. There had been rumours that Biggba was killed by a relic out of the clone wars. A cyborg Jedi killing monster. Fithnen was not fool enough to take such rumours lightly, and now it seemed his caution had been well deserved...

And something unnatural was staring at him. Raze was staring hard at the man, who was looking back. He saw a faint flicker of fear in his expression, which delighted Raze. Fear is a very useful ally.

Fithnen gazed levelly at the thing which stared so hard at him. If this then was the thing that had killed Biggba, perhaps it was no shock the man was dead. Fear had long sice become a stranger to Fithnen. Spend enough years in a black hole, waiting for some form of rescue, and internal demons make any substancial thing almost trivial. Still, Fithnen would not underestimate it.
Fithnen walked calmly over to pick up Biggba's head, then headed towards the thing.
"Were there any other remains..." he asked in a low voice.

(ooc:please dont force anythin on my character, like him being afraid or not. you can say he looked afraid, but not that he was afraid. where i come from its a form of godmodding)

The low, computerized voice came.."Yes." he said and reached inside his cloak. He withdrew his metal, six-fingered hand and it was clenched around a lightsaber. He didn't give it to the man, but he just clenched it in his hand.

Fithnen gazed at the lightsaber. So this was it. The confrontation this thing no doubt wanted.
"Under Republic law, all assets of the deceased bounty are to be paid out for any damages incurred by the placer of the bounty." Fithnen paused, looking into the thing's eyes. "However, this is not an asset, but a personal item, of some importance, and will go to the deceased party's living relatives."
Fithnen dropped his voice. "I will have to ask you for that..."

Underneath his mask, he cracked a faint smile. He remembered his report sheet, from that one day.....fears no consequence.. The cyborg clenched his hand around the lightsaber handle tighter....tighter....tighter.....until it just snapped like a twig. He had been staring this man in the eyes the entire time, as well.

Fithnen expected something like this. It was the unfortunate byproduct of arrogance, that is, the needless desire to demonstrate power. Fithnen sighed inwardly. But knelt down to gather up the pieces of the lightsaber, tucking them into his belt pouch. Removing his cloak, he reverently wrapped Biggba's head in it, then slung the macabre satchel over his back. Fithnen regarded the thing.
"Know this, friend. The dark side will consume you. As you give more and more of yourself into it, less and less shall you recieve, until one day, it does not heed your call." Fithnen glanced over his shoulder to Biggba's head. "This one shall be remembered as a Jedi, his remains burned so that the soul will released from its attachments to the physical, and become one with the Force. Ask yourself..."
Fithnen looked directly at the thing. "What will become of you when you die?"

"Take a look at me." he said slowly. "I'm not even alive!!" he screamed, and slammed a metal fist into the cement wall, making a very sizable hole. He calmed down now, and then said "I used to be a jedi."

Fithnen smiled. "You still can be. The dark side can never fully take you, unless you truly let it." Fithnen's eyes bored into the thing. "I can show you a better way. I can bring you back to life, despite your metal sheath..." Fithnen's voice rose.
"Release your hate, let go of it. Turn back from the dark side."

"You jedi are all the same....ignorant! Do I look like I have much for the Force to flow through?!" he said. The force flows through the living, not durasteel, wires, and gears. Raze knew not to think about much whilst around the Jedi, as they have an uncanny ability to be 'invasive,' so to speak.

Ben hadn't answered raze and was now standing.
He didn't know the jedi he'd brought in. But this Fithnen's aura seemed familiar.

Fithnen cocked his head. "You call me ignorant." Fithnen shrugged. "Perhaps...But is it not true that a Jedi could lift a driod with the Force? True, metal is not alive. Neither is rock, yet we still practice telekinesis by lifting stones." Fithnen looked at Raze again. "I reasert myself. You are not beyond redemption, metallic and cold though you be."
[Do I know you?] Fithnen whispered into Ben's mind. [you seem familiar to me.]
The only outward indicatation of this question was a small raise of the eyebrow in Ben's direction.
"Make your choice, but know the consequence either way." Fithnen said quietly to Raze.

Raze was a strategic genius, and he knew the right choice here. There was a long pause, and Raze recited his medical report in his head, repeating the line: ...lives the mind of a strategical genius... He thought it again, once again reciting the paper in his mind. "What's in it for me?" came the cold, computerized voice. How am I to serve the Jedi, when I am, for the most part, not even organic? If he did go to work for the weak Jedi, the only thing he would get would be...well, nothing. On the other hand, he could stay as he is, and continue to kill off the Jedi. But, he had been given credit for so many less Jedi than he really killed. It was just 1, and then 50, but then it went on to be 80...

Fithnen bowed. "Your choice is made. The Force is a way of the heart, not the mind, friend. So your intentions are made known to me." Fithnen bowed again to Raze and regarded Ben with a quizzical look, then turned and strode away.
"Know that next time we meet, it will not be words we exchange..." Fithnen said over his shoulder at Raze.

The way of the heart..ha! I don't have a heart. Physical or otherwise. Not words, eh? That is definitly is not the way of the Jedi..."You! Wait." he said.

Fithnen turned, cocking an eyebrow. "I have pressing business elsewhere." he said, hoisting the impromptu satchel with Biggba's remains.

"The Jedi will fall. The end is near." he said coldly, and slowy. With these words, he tauntingly opened his cloak, to reaveal about 20 or 30 lightsabers.

Fithnen had no reply. He had no witty remark, no barbed rhetoric about RAze's destination in the afterlife. 20 lightsabers. 20 Jedi. It would mean his fall to exact retribution for them, though, Fithnen knew he could not attack simply because Raze had killed them.
But to leave those lightsabers hanging there was something he could not allow. A Jedi's lightsaber is a reflection of his connection to the Force. To have that symbol taken like that, a trophy....
But there was something he could do. Something that would lay to rest the spirits of those dead Jedi...
Fithnen thrust out his hand, and a concussion of Force energy rippled outward. With a resounding crack, the lightsabers on Raze's belt shattered, crystal fragments and electronics flying about in a halo around the cyborg.
"Now those spirits may rest. Keep the trophies if you will, but know they hold no meaning now."
Fithnen turned and walked out of the room. Somehow, he could not shake the feeling this was not the last he would see of this Raze.

The more he breaks, the more I kill.. And this was true. He was to have his lightsaber trophies. Now, he would have to kill dozens more. And it would be fun. Raze's six-fingered fists clenched... ...unparralleled rage...

Raze was not privvy to either of their thoughts, but instead was just standing eerily in the corner, surveying the palace. Skum..useless skum.. he thought as he saw the denizens of the place.
