Hullo there. Jist thought a' wid put down some o' the songs fae home tae remind me o' me dad and singing them down in the toon square.
Here's one we sang at folks weddin's
Over hillways up and down Myrtle green and bracken brown, Past the shieling through the town All for sake of Mhàiri.
Step me gaily, off we go Heel for heel and toe for toe, Arm in arm and off we go All for Mhàiri's wedding.
Plenty herring, plenty meal Plenty peat to fill her creel, Plenty bonny bairns as weel That's the toast for Mhàiri.
Step me gaily, off we go Heel for heel and toe for toe, Arm in arm and off we go All for Mhàiri's wedding.
Cheeks as bright as rowans are Brighter far than any star, Fairest o' them all by far Is my darlin' Mhàiri.
Step me gaily, off we go Heel for heel and toe for toe, Arm in arm and off we go All for Mhàiri's wedding.
A' used tae love singin' that een.
As for school, a' met a nice loon the day called Faolan. He's fae Ireland. Mind you, he had to move here tae Hogsmeade recently cause his family were kicked oot o' their hoose. Makes meh glad meh family are'nae magical. Means folks will leave them alone. Well bye for now!
