Fall
The threat of the summer rains have turned into the promise in the fall. It rains almost all the time nowadays, and slowly the rain turns from warm to cold to freezing, and at the last snow begins to sink lower from the heights of the mountains into the valleys.

Weyrbowl Just about anywhere in Sinthera can be accessed from the Weyrbowl. Originally a low valley, it's been enclosed to protect it, though the south side was left open so dragons could still get in without trouble. Tunnels branch out in every direction, and though it's easy to take the wrong path if you don't know what you're doing, once you're accustomed to it the 'bowl is a handy shortcut to anywhere in the Weyr.

Hallways Hey, you gotta have some way to get to the other side of the Weyr. All the hallways in Sinthera are stone, having been carved into the mountain, and most are lit at regular intervals by glowbaskets, which are changed regularly.

Riders' Weyrs Carved into the mountain long ago is a system of caves in which the dragons of Sinthera and their riders live. Larger weyrs, where queens and other larger dragons live, are at the bottom, with the smaller ones toward the top. Tunneled-out hallways connect the weyrs, but each has a door to shut unwanted visitors out.

Handlers' Rooms Due to whers' extreme sensitivity to light, they and their handlers live underground. The common room can be accessed from either Weyrbowl or the Lower Caverns, and from there one finds several hallways leading off to the rooms.

Candidates' Rooms Set up much like the wherhandlers' rooms, except aboveground, near the kitchens, with a single common room leading to the single rooms. There are also only two hallways, one for male candidates and one for female candidates, with seven rooms on either side and one at the end for each hallway, creating a total of fifteen rooms to each hallway.

Weyrling/Wherling Rooms Near the candidates' rooms, these are set up the exact same way, with only a few differences: there are four hallways rather than two, with two hallways dedicated to each group and one to each sex of said group; and there are thirty rooms in each hallway, so that you don't have to have two humans and two dragons or whers crowding together.

Kitchens Everyone loves food, right? Well, maybe not, but it is necessary, so this is where it's prepared. The kitchens are split into two sections: the actual kitchens, where food is made and stored, and the dining area, which is scattered with tables and chairs where people actually eat.

The Lower Caverns This is where everything, from wine to records, is stored. There are worse placed to get lost- nonperishable food is stored here- but do be careful, all the same. The lower caverns are near the kitchens for easy access to food supplies.

The Infirmary Cuts, scrapes, stomach issues, mortal wounds- hey, accidents happen. If you're injured or sick, or think you're injured or sick, come here to get a healer's assistance (and if that bit about mortal wounds applies to you, hurrying might be a good idea).

Hatching Sands The largest of the Sands is the one used most often, and has two entrances: one gaping ground entrance and a second at the top of the cavern for dragons to fly into. Stands are carved into the stone surrounding the eternally hot sands. There are a few other side caverns as well, because clutchmothers have rarely been known to like sharing their Sands with each other, and no one wants fights that might endanger the eggs.
