What you should do to make your Hamster feel safe is, now and again get him in his ball and let him run around for aslong as you want, and then get your hammie out of his/her ball and then let your hamster on your lap and play with him. Hamster cant see propley so talk to your hammie very clearly and that will tame them. But when they are eating dont disturb them or they will bite. So good luck
