Yeah I had to put it down to easy cause I just kept getting killed. Maybe I built up my guy wrong or something.

Or you're bad. tongue.gif

Did you set your party members up with some good tactics? Do you have the standard party build [healer, tank, two damagers]? Are you positioning them right during a fight? For example, I kept getting raped by the same big fireball spell, that does AoE damage and a knockback, until I started making sure all my players were spread out.

Also, for PC version owners, I would highly highly suggest this mod: Character Respecialization
It gives you a potion you can use any time to reallocate each characters point distributions, learned skills, and even specializations. I'm not lying when I say it actually increased my enjoyment in the game substantially [since working around a shitty character build was no longer an issue]

Also, while you're at it, there's an addon for Camp storage chest which does exactly what it sounds like. A box with infinite space in your camp to put the garbage you won't need for a while.

If you install either, check out the instructions on the latter link. They're much clearer on how to install. It's not that difficult to install, and makes the game much better. [seriously, this shit should have been in the game from the beginning]

I don't really have a problem with room and no I didn't have that healer setup. In fact I just gave morrigan the heal not too long ago. Also my tactics are pretty noob, it all seemed too complicated so I never did anything with it.

It's not really the fireball spell that's killing me as much, it's when I get swarmed by more than 5 enemies, they just do more damage than I can take and I can barely dish out any damage. Or like 5 mabari, I can't even take on that many because they do overthrow and pretty much kill all my party members with just that and alister the tank just gets ganked by 4.

OK I've started a human Warrior noble guy; I'm not impressed so far... the dialogue is not as sharp as previous BioWare titles, and the story seems to be the lamest since Neverwinter Nights. Does it get better/more interesting, and is the combat more Guild Wars than Mass Effect? (Not a bad thing).

I personally found the human noble to be the worst Origin. Keep going and see what you think.

Alright, it got better. tongue.gif It's not quite what I expected, but it's pretty decent so far... reminds me of Guild Wars, actually.

SPOILER

I was pretty surprised when Duncan killed the Grey Warden candidate; I'm enjoying the fact that the Grey Wardens are not necessarily "good" so far.

I liked the ending. And the realization that unlocking a specialization unlocks it for all future characters.

I liked it. Human Mage was too long.
