Dunno if we have one of these up. But its a nice idea. What do you want to do before you die? Your last accomplishments/goals. And tell us why it would matter so much. Try not to give us the cliche get married and settle down and get rich. Be specific.

I was watching some skydiving vids on youtube because my Physics teacher told me of a funny one where the guy's both main and reserve chutes ripped off, and he hit the ground after the second malfunction, and lived. Well, funny for how he was swearing, its unbeliveably amazing he lived.

I want to skydive. The thought of moving freely through the air for that long. To be at the will of the wind. I would practically make it a hobby.... because it just seems like so much fun. I'm not afraid of heights. Not in that sense. I can only be afraid of heights if I'm on some limb or pole high up and i'm close to falling on rough ground. Skydiving is different, you're already falling! laugh.gif
Probably pop in my Zune and crank some awesome tune to it, doing flips and whatnot.

Rest of you?

Feel free to comment on others' ideas and add your own ideas as time progresses.

KOAX gets 1 up'd

Even if it were the last thing I ever do, I feel it would be worth it.

Fly a plane or helicopter, work for Google (I think that'd be awesome), and visit Iceland (not for any particular reason). All to lesser extents. If I die before I can do any these, fine.

But most importantly, I want to lead a large organization, of at least a few dozen people. The organization doesn't matter... company, focus group, gang, revolution... don't care. I just really wanted to have that sort of responsibility and power before I die.

Fly a helicopter. Live in a foreign country for a long time. Ski in Chile. Hike more of the Pacific Crest Trail. Teach my own children how to ski. Finish something I start writing. Find out what I really want to do with my life.

Most of all I want to be 100% absolutely, positively certain with a choice I make in my life. That would be nice. sleep.gif

That's right. Not a bad wish, either.

Difficult one, though.

I don't find it particularly tough...

Occasionally, I find myself thinking "Man I wish I did things differently then." But when it comes down to it, it doesn't matter. I think about my life nowadays and consider if what I did back then would really affect what's happening now. Usually the answer is no. And frequently, things work out for the better. smile.gif

Well if I knew I'd die because of an uncurable disease, I'd skip my job, study etc. make sure, my pets get a new great home and have a nice long trip to a place that is important to me.

Ah, that is one bad thing about Latin, each word has about 100 different translations.

I was going for "No desire" rather than "No regret"
