I feel that we probably wont be the side with the narrator. I know Chaos mentioned two human NPCs and we've had no special named ones. I figured it would be the brother since at the end of Diary 1 he said he would keep a diary (i think) but hes dead. Unless one of us actually become the Narrator then I can't see it being us (although I do think we might reappear in the diary if we survive.)

I believe Derek is either the Narrator gone ascendant, or the absolution.

I believe a few things. The either A the absolution wrote diaries 4-6 and that this is the narrator we're fighting (with new strength) or that this is Absolution 1. I'll allow more conversation before getting too much into it.

I did have a crusader who was an NPC, and maybe he died, but Kratos didn't really see his corpse. Maybe Sefios is the new narrator.

But seriously, I do not think the new narrator is one that will be all out asking questions and talking to regular people, but one who keeps low and such. The way I see us coming in contact, is either by battle with the narrator, or him noting out stupidity.

I'm fairly sure in a conversation ages ago with Bodster either when I first encountered the Defiled or Derek (I can't remember which it was now), I suggested that one of them might be an Absolution. I think he said there were only 3 Absolutions and only one (the one the previous Narrator killed) could talk. So I would say Derek being an Absolution is unlikely, since he has spoken on several occasions.

Derek also cannot superjump, like the Silent Man can. I can be pretty sure that we can say the Silent Man is an Absolution.

Interestingly enough, you guys have more theories about Derek, the Silent Man and such, than the Survivors themselves do.

Probably because we have even less information on them than they do.

They have very little to go, especially as far as the truth is concerned.

Well actually I figured Derek was the absolution because he jumped off the church early on in the rpg and ran off. Isn't the roof like 2 stories high? He also jumped from the library to the mall through a window. But at the same time the GM refers to Derek as the man he used to know.

It also makes sense because the Silent Man was carrying Derek around the day we rushed the HQ. Obviously he can't jump like the Silent Man can.

But obviously the GM is super strong. How can Derek keep up with that? If he is human, then two skilled fighters should be able to at least kinda sorta hold their own, am I right?

Dark Animal suggested the narrator in Diary 4 and begining of 5 is an absolution and that the Narrator recovered at the end of Diary 3 and walked off, while the absolution was picked up. This makes sense because the "narrator" in religion was throwing people into the ceiling and shit. Plus I mentioned that the whole dream sequence could of been the narrator's mind or concious melding with the absolution. Dark Animal also suggested that that was when the Narrator changed and became way more violent and stronger. Perhapes the wounds on the absolution would stop healing and be more human like thus the scars remain ect. Especially because the absolutions in diary 6 do the same thing.

As for Lanky, Dark Animal pointed out that once the Lankey regenerates enough, it can die. Its mentioned in like Diary 2 or some shit. Perhapes the regen for absolutions and ascendants dwindles over recovery time?

So, it is safe to assume the Narrator, the human one, the original, is the one in the story right now. Thus how the brother believed that his brother was dead. The absolution on the other hand, is still alive. He would just recover from the fall, like he did last time.

This means, the absolution believe he is the actual Narrator. And the actual Narrator is still alive.

And who is to think the original Narrator cannot fight the Grand Master? He is a damned beast, right? He's a freaking awesome man. We're just.. weak.

No, because hes human, that means I could kill him. He can only do so much. The narrator against the current GM probably wouldn't win. Thats why I believe Absolution!!!!

More theories!

So I think I know who the new narrator is. In the Day 9 discussion Chaos mentioned Gary (i think) and Nicola. OR some shit. Well I remember bodster mentioning that the Narrator for Series 2 was a woman. OH SHIT.

Oh Lankey. With the regen wearing out. I remember on like a day 6 or some shit, we spotted two creatures coming into the city. One had a gouge over its left eye. Thats where it was hit on the final day. Now maybe its regen was wearing out and it does have a weakness. Jon (Dark Animal) pointed out so far in the diary (hes just started diary 6) that up to that point Lankey's neck had been damaged when it was nearly sliced off. But that means his face should still be weak. Also most damage was to his torso. That means I think Lankey's weak points are its legs and face since they haven't taken as much damage.

Man I love you bod. Why? Cuz this shit is tight.

This "Regen wearing out" theory intrigues me.

Dark Animal pointed out that Diary 2 (I think) says Tenax's weakness was eventually it would burn up its regenerative abbilities if he recovered too much. Since most of the damage was done to its torso and arms its head remains a potential spot for a weakness. Lets face it, Lankes got his amrs and hands cut off, his torso imapled, run over, burned hit really hard and blown up. His neck cut into. His face hit in the left eye. That leaves alot of his face and legs that havn't sustained much damage. If its the case, and he really has that eye wound and it took that long to recover (given RPG 2 is set months after Diary 6) then Lankey might be near the end of its life.

and you're going to test this theory?

Hell no. You think I'm that crazy? Lets have Fable or Kratos do that shit.

Edit: But then again if I had to fight I'd proabbly try it, since with a pitchfork I can see myself rushing him in his face.

Kite mentioned to me that he thinks the Silent Man might be David. Since he uses spears. I don't know how he came up with it but it sounds hella fucking good. So theres that, which brings me to the Narrators brother. They retrieved his head. If the Silent Man is David or some form, whats to say they couldn't resurect the Narrator's Brother? I think he might have the chance of being alive.
