I believe that the Renegade is just a master who joined the survivors because;

A. Derek fucked up with his brain, and he wants to kill the Grand Master.

B. He owes something to Derek.

C. The Grand Master banished him, and due to an injury, he joined the survivors to kill the GM.

By the way, my money is on that Derek is the original narrator. And i'm not talking about the one from 4-6, i'm talking about the one that was originally there. I mean, Derek has feelings, he cares about people, and all that crap.

Also, while the Silent Man can be David, I can also bet him and Jon are the new 'friend' of Derek (the narrator). Either the narrator is Derek, and Bod is just trying to bullshit us so we won't really know who the narrator is.

Bod, is basically trying to avoid people knowing who the narrator is, and he really isn't giving us the true facts, due to the fact he cannot spoil the whole shit.

A question;

Now that battle of exit road is drawing to a close with only Silent Man and a couple of PCs as threatening enemies, can we attack the convey and have a couple of us go after the escaped Unwashed in one of the liberated cars?

I was thinking that we could replicate Silent Man's strategy by placing a Master or two on top and having them jump to the escaped vehicles to rip appart the occupants.

Comeon, you know a car chase is the right setpiece to end it!

There has been nothing to stop any of you from assaulting the convoy. In fact, I wonder why you all chose to attack the tougher targets instead of the far easier prey.

No. They've reached the end of the rpg as far as the Survivors are concerned unless they decide to return.

So, even if we succeed in killing all remaining enemies, we must still return to the GM and tell him we let half of them escape.

Assuming the GM is still alive (omg blasphemy!)

Depends if you all live for that long. The GrandMaster is up to other things right now, however your mission for the day is to stop as many as possible.

This may sound a bit weird but I was thinking about this a couple of days ago. Is it possible that the Renegade/Derek's farther is infact the original Narrator and that Derek is some sort of Absolution or clone? If this was the case, Derek may refer to the original Narrator as his farther since he was made of him. It would also account for them being (minus the damage) near identical. We also know that one of the Narrator's hands was near destroyed and he was critically wounded by the explosion in his final fight with Lanky, which is consistant with the Renegade's damage.
