I like the hidden path the best, because I finally have something which will keep my warhawks alive long enough to charge a warmachine crew. Also you can give it you a big unit of glade guard, so they can shoot up a juicy unit hiding behind some trees...

I agree with PhatAlbert but of all the spells the one that I find most useful in most situations is "hidden path"

"I'm sorry, u were trying to HIDE in that building?"

Ariels blessing is a close second.

Hidden path is a nice touch, but will only work to shoot/move and be shot at. Ariel's Blessing allows you to do just about anything. Even charge out into the open if you dared! My list contains resilence, and will benefit better from AB then the Path. A list containing lot's of GG, then 'yes', it would do better as it plays offensive roles to allow your GG to target 'hidden' units AND protect them from missile fire at the same time. It depends on your list, and what's it's function and goal is.

I haven't even had a chance to try out the new spells from the lore of Athel Loren yet, but I would say that the tree-singing spell would be the most useful, simply because it has multiple uses. Moving terrain can be excellent for blocking line-of-sight or shutting down someone's charge. Moving your own troops once inside is also useful for getting just the extra boost you needed to get those nasty wardancers behind the enemy battleline, or whichever unit you may have put in there. Lastly, it's good because it keeps your opponent away from the woods, otherwise you'll have a very easy-to-cast and damaging spell to whack his/her units with.

Second I would say would be the Hidden Path, for reasons stated above, and also enhancing one of the Wood Elves already strong traits: mobility and maneuverability.

But it's also the most difficult to cast, making it's usefulness limited.
