Domain Name

I'm looking to transfer The Scientist Blog to a new domain (and switch from Blogger to something else). It'll allow for tons of cool things I can't do with blogger; better commenting system, polls, faster loading times (blogger only hide the "read more" content from the mainpage; it still shows in the source).

I need your input :

Do you think that www.thescientistblog.com would be a suitable option? I'm hesitating because of The-Scientist; science news, almost same title, I fear that they could send me a cease-and-desist of some sort for trademark infringement in the future. If you know about a cool (and available) domain name which I could use, feel free to express yourself :)

And I need a reliable, cheap (ads aren't paying that much) host company.

I'll be keeping thescientistblog.blogspot.com up for some time after the transfer; with a redirect while the new website builds backlinks, Pagerank.. well, traffic. Speaking of backlinks, if you appreciate what I'm doing and have a website related to science (or targeted to a public who could be interested in science news), feel free to link to me ;)

Well, I always wondered about the name. You are posting biotech news and not news about every natural science that exists. So maybe you could find a name with biotech or bioinformatics in it (http://www.biotechblog.com is already taken).
