I'd have to be a right bastard to only post this on my own forum...and I'm not a right bastard.
Here you go...

QUOTE (this bit is taken from a post on a Dreamcast Forum I frequent)
"A poster by the name of "koam" at the NeoGAF forums, has some interesting pieces from the latest EGM magazine in the States.
This information is unconfirmed!

The Wii will have a $249 price tag
The Wii will always be "online" - even when the console is switched off
There will be a built in speaker on the controller
Virtual Console games will not have improved graphics
TurboGrafx-16 will have it’s 1st party games out at launch, 3rd party games will come as demand increases
Estimated Virtual Console prices are - NES: a few $, SNES: 5$, N64: $10.
Virtual Console games are pro-scan enabled.
The Wii will see more 3rd party exclusives than the Cube

The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess:

The game is apparently 80% complete.
You don't swing the Wii controller to attack with your sword at all times, instead you use a button. This is apparently because you'll get tired too quick playing the game. Though you will need to swing the controller some times.
The Wii controller emits sound effects
You can only play in widescreen when playing on the Wii
Navi is only in-game when played on the Wii
Online features are planned - but no online battles
More dungeons than Ocarina of Time
More items to collect"</i>

---
If all this is true ^^^ here's my opinions

The retro game pricing seems a couple of dollar dearer than I'd like, but it's the UK price that matter to us and we havent seen that yet.

The sound from the controller thing is ace imo. I just hope the batteries have good life.

Always online is something a couple of people said they'd hate, but personally I see no problem with it really.

Zelda delayed...ok, so it's obviously become a Wii game that can play on the Gamecube too now.

Also, they always promise to have more 3rd party support, I suppose I do believe them, but only time will tell on that.

Anyway
*loads imageshack
*uploads stuff to imageshack (EGM scans)

A couple of Zelda shots, a new super monkey ball, a tennis game, a baseball game, Red Steel, Tony Hawks, and some other crazy lookin game.

I'm against for the online all the time thing since even my PC is only online for a few hours a day.

Well
a) you need broadband to play next gen online games, broadband isn't based on a 'how long your online = how much you'll get charged' system so what's the problem? Plus your modem is online all the time anyway unless for some reason you turn it off

b) Unplug the network cable or disable wi-fi if you're going to be a crybaby about it

Hmm, my modem is only ever on when i go online as when i disconnect, the modem gets unplugged and put away, i sign in and out of broadband like i used to with dial up. I guess that's why i thought the idea was a bit odd.

LMAO!!!

We only ever turn our broadband modem off when we go to bed. It normally provides a connection for three computers, but can have anything up to five. And a DS! And at some point in the (not too distant?) future, a Wii.

I never turn mine off. If I do it's too 'refresh' every once in a while (I do the same with my router).
