With the give Effort Values, Flygon is able to outspeed 270 Speed Choice Scarf users such as Heracross, and still be able to OHKO minimum defense Garchomp and Salamence with Draco Meteor. Earthquake is just your standard, powerful STAB move. Stone Edge will 2KO Gyarados. U-Turn is always a good move to have for scouting counters, but Fire Blast can be used if you'd just like to KO Skarmory and Bronzong.

"fear my cool". Basically, this thing is for some nice surprise factor. While Flygon's Draco Meteor may not be as strong as Salamence's, it still does quite a bit of damage. 2 things that Flygon does have over Salamence with this set are STAB Earth Power and U-Turn. Earth Power is able to take out Heatran, Regirock, and Tyranitar, 3 of Specsmence's biggest counters. U-Turn allows Flygon to see what counters your opponent has for him, and lets you switch accordingly. Fire Blast gets rid of Skarmory and Bronzomg of course.

Choice Band

This was the old RSE standard until Garchomp came out of nowhere and made this somewhat obsolete.Standard CB Set, just predict and attack accordingly. Fire Punch hits Skarmory and Bronzomg, but U-Turn helps to scout counters.

Life Orb

EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def / 216 Spd

This is just a mixed attacking set with a lot less prediction than a Choice set. Stone Edge hits Gyarados, but Dragon Claw gets STAB and hits Garchomp and stuff. Fire Blast is pretty much needed for Skarmory and Bronzong, and Roost is to heal off damage done by Life Orb.

Other Options: Quick Attack can be useful for finishing things off. Substitute helps to ease prediction. Crunch can be used for Cresselia and Mesprit and stuff.

Counters: Cresselia beats all versions. Bronzong and Skarmory can work but they need to watch out for Fire moves. Gyarados beas it, but has to be wary of switching into Stone Edge.

Opinion: Screw Garchomp, use Flygon!
