Nah, seriously, this discussion is about which you believe is better.

PlayStation 3 or Nintendo Wii?

Sure, I won't deny that the PlayStation 3 probably will be quite the powerhouse when it comes to graphics.....But I gotta say that I've always loved Nintendo's way of working more on making it fun.

I believe that Wii is the better one because Nintendo has put energy into making it something unique and fun! =3

I love the Playstation and the Wii when it comes to different matters. The Wii is fun, but it gets to a point where I go "OK, it's fun, but can I stop moving my arm now?" but the Playstation 2 was my first system, and defiently the best I own. I like the Wii, and Twilight Princess went way above expectations, but, I need more mind blowing things. And the Playstation has Guitar Hero...I love Guitar Hero.

I still have neither, cuz I'm broke like that. =D *sniped and auto-revived* Anyways, almost everyone I know talks about the Wii because it's like almost everyone has it. I dunno what I prefer personally, but I do hear much good things about the Wii.

I can't say that the PS2 is a bad console. Neither can I do so with the PS3, one reason is because I haven't played it and second its because it ain't a bad console, non of them are.

I just like the Wii more because 1. Nintendo actually makes quite a lot of the games that keeps them going. Such as the Mario Series, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid Prime and Starfox.
2. They concentrait on the fun in the game, not mind blowing graphics and stuff like that.
3. They tried to get non-gamers into gaming with Wii, and according to my fiance his mother is interested in trying to play on the Wii. So, they're succeding.

The PS2 and PS3 is for the veteran and hardcore players that enjoy playing more on their own, at least to me thats what it seems like, while the the Nintendo consoles have tried to make games that people can gather around and play together.

And I don't like Sony for two reasons.

1. If Squarenix/Squaresoft went to Nintendo, Sony would be doomed cause they make no games of their own. Not any games that I've heard of anyway.

2. They're too fucking expensive and I find their views on console making too much of a capitalist view to like it.

I agree with DD 100%. I mean,Nintendo,as he clearly stated,wa salways about having fun,not about graphics,or all the fancy extras and such. and,he is also right about their damned outrageous price tag on their Ps3. granted,I believe there is no such thing as a "better" system or whatever,but I have also been a Nintendo person growing up,so my loyalties,in terms of gaming,will always lie with Nintendo. and,everyday,I hear people bad-mouthing Nintendo about their prices and such,thinking Sony's is cheapest. I was like "Are you fucking kidding me?" Well,as a law enforcement officer,I make more than enough money to buy which ever I choose,but I chose Nintendo,simply because,they have the type of games I like to play,and I enjoy them,no matter how many times I clear them,or how easy they are. I just think people make poor judgment towards Nintendo,only because they make no mature games with blood and gore spraying everywhere every 2 seconds and such. or at least,what I've heard people say,anywayz.

Ok, swear to god, we start dissing system's this topic goes bye bye. You all remember how to that one long ago went.

And second, not true. Red Steel? Lots of blood. Far Cry: Vengance? Once again, blood. The thing is, when it comes to starting new systems, Most devolpers aim there games to people who are going to buy them first. Older Males (16-25) are usually the first. Therefore most devolpers start with games that are aimed toward a more mature audience. Wii has games like that to. Plus, a large majority of Wii owners are selling them because the games aren't living up to the hype. As the same with the PS3. The X-Box 360 is winning because it is deleivering on some great games, but it also as a year head start. Give these consoles a year. Then we should have this topic.

Hate to break it to you, but Red Steel had no blood. It was still awesome, however. Nintendo themselves have had a few odd gory titles, however, just look at Geist.

Don't forget Perfect Dark. Also, Conkers Bad Fur Day, easily the most gory game for N64....I think...
