pretty self-explanatory - who in your opinion will settle in and have the best debut season? i think while thomas is probably the most qualified, stanley's strong body shape will allow him to play more games in the ones, and thus have the best season.

With Pendlebury ill, and Stanley competing with the HBF brigade of 2 Shaws, one Davies, a distant OBrien and a cast of thousands others, I guess Thomas might be more likely to pinch a start in the FP if Davis falls over, or more amazingly becomes more full-time in the middle.

Rather, I'd have liked to say "none" in the firsts and let them develop and explore their strengths at Willi for the first year (they're mostly bottom age guys anyway). But injuries and the fickle finger of fate, might have Thomas a touch ahead. Who'll have the best season at Willi though - totally agnostic.

Its so hard to say, not having seen any of them. People are suggesting that Stanley has the body to mix it in the seniors, so maybe he might get a chance. They said the same thing about Yakka IIRC, so it may not be the best of gauges. I'm going to training on Monday so I'll be taking extra notice of how the kids are going.

Glandular fever as a 17/18 year old is a shocker.

I agree with Twaters that if we have any sort of a decent run with injuries all these kids should play a full season at Willy. Unfortunately, I 'm not convinced our lower picks and the pre-season picks hve much to offer (Does anyone know why we didn't take Camporeale ?).

On this basis, I can see us playing poorly, not having a competitive on ball brigade and not kicking enough goals under Malthouse....thus being forced to pick Thomas for a handful of games in the middle of the season.
