The Bible says that no other prophecies would be given.. Somewhere in Revelation I believe. So no I don't believe other people have the gift to see visions or give new prophecies anymore.

We are talking about the gifts from the Holy Spirit, right? I've heard two points on this:
1. The gifts were given to the original twelve by the Holy Spirit and they could pass them on to others, but those who received the gifts from the disciples couldn't pass them on. Eventually, there would be nobody left with the gifts.
2. The gifts were given to the the orignial twelve by the Holy Spirit. And like the Holy Spirit, they could pass the gifts on to whom ever they choose. And the Holy Spirit could also impart any of the gifts to whomever would receive them. Thus, people through out the ages would continue to receive the gifts.
I subsribe to point two as three gifts are specifically mentioned in the Holy Scriptures: Tongues, Prophecy and Love and Love is the greatest of them. The gift of Love is still around, why not the other two.
I've been told stories that there are many tribes threw-out Africa and South American who are Christian and are well versed in biblical prophesy without ever seeing a bible or a missionary. The only reasonable explaination is that somebody in those tribes choose to look for the Kingdom of God and received the gift of prophecy. God makes himself known to all who seek, to all who knock on the door.
