A friend of mine is going through a really tough time right now. There's no real reason (or rather, main reason) for it, but none the less, he is. And it's hurting me to see him hurting so much. So I ask that you would pray for peace to fill his soul, that the Lord would quiet his racing heart, and steady his feet in his Christian walk, because he is "unsure" of some basic Christian teachings, and I find this worrisome.

I don't know this person, but I hope that they find the strength to be themself in the face of of any friends who don't respect the belief choices they have made. I'll also keep my fingers crossed that his friends have the common sense to encourage him no matter what, and inspire confidence instead of guilt.
