All right, I am super-bored at the moment, and so am giving in to this sudden whim of mine to start this discussion.

Basically, if you were an X-Men/superhero/someone with powers, what sort of ability would you want?

Now, I would probably be one of those lame X-Men that you never hear of. Like, my mutant power would be the ability to toast bread with my mind or something equally useless.

However, if I had a choice, I would probably want to be able to turn into animals. Like Mystique (sp?) but with animals rather than people. And heck, maybe just to liven things up, I could go through some sort of werewolf thing every full moon. That would certainly keep things interesting at the X-Mansion. Is this werewolf obsession of mine strange and vaguely masochistic? Hmm...I should probably get that checked out.

Sorry for the somewhat...disjointed thought process here. I'm sleepy.

See, I figure that with the animal-shifting abilities, I could do that by turning into a hawk or a...wild turkey or something.

But after watching X-Men 3, I really, REALLY wanted to grow a pair of big fluffy white wings. It's one of my two New Year's Resolutions.

So yeah. I always thought it'd be cool to be able to walk through walls. Or.... Just have Spider-Man's powers. Because Spider-Man is awesome.

I think my power would be kinda like Kitty Pryde's, other wise known as Shadowcat. Be able to phase through matter, walk through walls and what not, but a little more than that. When I "phase", I'd be semi-transparent so that it could also be used kinda like camo, and anytime I phase all my wounds would be instantly healed. And yeah, that was long thought out, lol.

I'd like the ability to teleport myself whenever I wanted to exact locations. And to have the choice when I got there if I'd like to be totally undetectable or not. Yes, that would own.

Well, I've always wanted to not have to sleep. Perhaps like the elves, your body can still be moving, but your mind is in sleep mode. Then I could stay up as late as I wanted. yay! But, I do like CHristine's idea a lot... so maybe I'd steal it. :P

Flying and mind-reading. I have those, I'm happy.
