Turok is being adapted into a movie? As in, Turok, the game?

Wow. Maybe there can be some sort of reverse-clause here. If a game series is by and large shitty, does that mean the movie is destined to be awesome?

Now I understand. I dunno, the trailer looks kinda shoddy. I like the style of the art, though - it reminds me of the cinematic sequences in Myth and Myth II (games made by Bungie when they weren't sold out to Microsoft.)

It's not as if it's obscure, it ran for almost 30 years, 1954-1982.
