Pinkerton is one of my all-time favorite albums. In every review I've seen of the album, it's gotten either 4 or 5 out of 5 stars. Anyways, here's my review:
Pinkerton is probably the essential "emo" album of the '90s. While largely unnoticed by the music industry, it was Weezer's chance to produce their own album. The result is wonderful. I can relate to about every track on Pinkerton, and that is partly what makes it so great. The tracks are excellently orchastrated, even the order is down-pat. We go from 'Tired of Sex' to tracks like 'El Scorcho' and 'Pink Triangle'. The songs have great guitar audio, and the solo on 'Tired of Sex' is masterful. Cuomo and the boys did a great job. All in all, I give Pinkerton a 4.9/5 -------------------- Kentucky Fried hath spoken up in here, thou best be respectin', dawg
