Reason For Plane Journey: She was getting away from her now horrible life in Australia with her father. She had been in contact with her aunt, in Pacedina, California. She was taking a flight to Los Angeles and her aunt was waiting for her.
Appearance: Delilah has brown, wavy hair. Her clothes are often what normal girls her age would wear, besides what she wears on the ranch.

Personality: When Delilah was four years old, she found a fox. Now, you see, Delilah is very enviormentally friendly and loves animals. Well, her father, when he found out about this fox, he got out his shotgun and killed it. Delilah has always been very careful not to let her father know how close she got to anything, or anyone, afraid he would take it or them away from her. The fox was only the beginning. Her father beat her mother, and her mother always hid Delilah under her bed when he was ever drunk. Delilah was always scared at these times, and always stayed completely quiet. When she was 13 years old, her mother became sick. She died of cancer about 6 months later. This just left Delilah, her brother [Jameson] and their father. Her brother, now, was 19. He graduated from highschool and is already in college in the US.

History: Delilah was born into her parents; Mari and Robert Murphy. Her father was 41 and her mother was 39 when she was born. Her older brother, Jameson, was 4 years old at the birth of his younger sister. He was jealous at first, but grew to love his younger sister, and they became very close. As Delilah grew, her father became more and more depressed, coming home drunk almost every night. After finishing his chores on the ranch he would drive his pickup into town and drink about 10 beers. Robert, because he was drunk, beat Jameson and Delilah's mother, while the two hid in either the closet or under the bed, but always together. Jameson would cover Delilah's ears so she wouldn't hear, and she would eventually fall asleep with her head in her brother's lap. One year, when Delilah was 13, her mothe rbecame sick with cancer. She died 6 months later. Now it was just Delilah, Jameson and their father, Robert. But Jameson had to go to college, as he did, promising to call every night and visit as often as possible. Delilah dreaded the times when she had to come home from her private school to her father, having to do twice as many chores and then get yelled at, sometimes he even hit her, but she would hit him back. You see, the problem with being the father and seeming strong, hurting your wife, your children catch on. Delilah was a tough child, always has been, and would never let her father hurt her without fighting back.
