[Tai Kwondo]

Tai stepped foot into the desert. The dry air blasted him in the face and almost knocked him down. He regained himself before attemtping to continue. Tai recieve Seadarus from the lab and was ready for adventure. Not wanting Seadarus to dry out too fast, Tai kept him sheltered inside his Pokeball.

"The Dry Winds to New Adventures are blowing, Seadarus," Tai muttered under his breath to no one.

Sand. That was all there was. Sand, sun, and wind. It was basically limbo. But there was something disturbing...it looked like a Pokémon, limping. It was walking up a sand dune, apparently injured. But Tai was too far away to see what it was. He could risk getting closer...or play it safe.

[Tai Kwondo]

Tai studied the movements of this figure. The way it wobbled with it's injury. The sand obviously wasn't helping. Friend or foe? The voice in Tai's mind asked.

"Only one way to find out," Tai answered.

He moved closer slowly.

"HELLO!" he called out.

[Galladiator]

It was a small Pokémon. It looked kinda like... something someone wouldn't expect to find here. It looked like some kinda humanoid figure... what was it? It was... a Makuhita! It was accompanied by a Bronzong. More like it was being chased by the small Psychic type.

[I know Makuhita can't be found here, but this region is cool like that. Look at MG. He got a Charizard!]

[Tai Kwondo]

"Well. There's no better time than the present to find out how good my new Pokémon is....Seadarus! Let's go, Battle mode!" Tai shouted.

His little sea dragon Pokémon appeared in a flash of white light.

"Seadarus! Use Tackle on Bronzong!" Tai shouted, pointing towards the target.

"Sea!" the little sea dragon stated before jumping into Tai's arms and preparing to tackle Bronzong.

The small serpent seemed to show off a lot while doing so. He slammed into Bronzong, distracting it. Although it didn't do much. It wasn't so small close up, since Bronzong is the evolved version. Instead, it laughed maniacally, and moved away, showing a Bronzor, it's accomplice. Using Confusion, it attacked Seadarus.

Bronzor: 100%
Seadarus: 90%

[Tai Kwondo]

Seeing this damage dealt to his new friend, Tai became angry. He racked his brain for attacks Seadarus might know. He knew Seadarus.

"Seadarus. Use Crunch!" shouted Tai.

He gave Seadarus a confident look and a thumbs up.

"Follow Crunch up with Water Gun!" shouted Tai.

Seadarus grinned, and flashed a thumb's-up as well. He crunched down on Bronzor as hard as he could, dealing decent damage but hurting his teeth. Then he used Water Gun, spraying Bronzor with a jet of water similar to a fire hose. Bronzor didn't exactly like this. It used Confuse Ray, making Seadarus act like he was on an acid trip. It followed up with Confusion, dealing more damage.

Bronzor: 70%
Seadarus: 80% (CONFUSED)

[Tai Kwondo]

"Seadarus!" Tai shouted.

Why didn't Crunch do super damage? It's a Dark Type Move and Bronzor is a Pyschic Type....what is wrong! Tai thought.

"Seadarus! You've got to snap out of it!" Tai shouted, trying to think of something to do, "Wait a minute! Makuhita? Will you help me? I need you to use Knock Off on Bronzor!" Tai said.

He rushed to Seadarus and tried to calm him down.

"Seadarus! Aim A Water Gun straight into the air, full force!" Tai shouted.

(Steel takes away Dark's Super-Effective hit.)

Makuhita remained on the sidelines, too damages to do anything for the time being. Seadarus just looked at Tai, like he was fed up with him. Who are YOU...to tell ME...what to do!? He used Water Gun on Tai, laughing hysterically at his trainer. It wasn't him. It was the confusion.

Bronzor: 70%
Seadarus: 80% (CONFUSED)

[Tai Kwondo]

"Thanks Seadarus....Now what to do? I've stuck my nose in too deep. I was beginning a battle that I wasn't prepared for with a Pokémon I've never battled with. I'd have expected me to do that in Ceylon, in the beginning but not now. Not after what Josh and I went through!" Tai shouted to no one.

Tai looked at Seadarus.

"SEADARUS! WATER GUN!" shouted Tai.

Seadarus actually listened this time. He shot out a jet of water, dousing Bronzor. The metallic coin Pokémon was knocked back, and angry. Whatsha' gunna du? Huh? I've already beaten you...you just don't know it yet... Hm. Apparently Confuse Ray makes you high. Bronzor used Confusion again, slamming Seadarus with an orb of purple energy.

Bronzor: 55%
Seadarus: 65% (CONFUSED)

[Tai Kwondo]

Tai smiled at Seadarus' remarks.

Now to figure out a way around the Steel-Type of Bronzor Seadarus is confused and this isn't helping my chances of winning....there's like a 50/50 chance of a successful attack here....if Makuhita could attack, it would be great.

"Seadarus! Ice Punch!" Tai shouted, remembering the Pokémon's Egg Move

Luck prevails again! Seadarus charged his fist with ice energy, and slammed Bronzor. Though it didn't do much damage, thanks to Steel's resistance to Ice. Bronzor then looked straight into Seadarus's eyes, and Seadarus seemed to calm down. Soon enough, he fell asleep. The Hypnosis had taken effect. Another Confusion was used, dealing high damage.

Bronzor: 50%
Seadarus: 45% (CONFUSED/ASLEEP)

[Tai Kwondo]

"I can't risk hurting Seadarus anymore," Tai thought.

I'm not Josh. Josh could talk this Bronzor into joining him...not me. But I'm going to capture this Pokémon! Tai thought feeling around his belt for a Pokeball.

Selecting a Pokeball, Tai drew it out. He enlarged the ball, pressing the center button. Tai grabbed the brim of his hat with his left hand, pulling it down cover his eyes.

"POKEBALL! GO!" Tai shouted, tossing the ball with his right hand.
