My thoughts are with you and your family too Merengue. I know the good wishes I received from those here, most of whom only knew me through posting here, helped my morale as I recovered from my own medical problems several years ago.

I have been away for awhile and am saddened to read this news on my return. Like everyone else here, I pass on my best wishes to Merengue's daughter for a full recovery. We may not personally know one another but have a bond through this fine message board which Merengue created, his pain has become our pain too.

THANK YOU to all for their messages of support in this difficult time. It really means a lot that so many of you thought enough of my daughter's situation to come on here and express your thoughts and sympathies. Both my wife and I took strength from this support.
I do have some good news to report as yesterday Ana left intensive care and is starting her long road to recovery but the most nerve wracking part is over. It has been a very stressful week but our worst fears have not come to pass. Thank you again for your support, this is more than just a message board it is a community and I appreciate your input in what has been the most difficult time for both my wife and I. -------------------- |

Again thank you to everyone for the good wishes. My daughter is making slow but steady progress and now is in the familiar surroundings of home which makes us all feel better. I thank you for your messages of support as it has given me strength to get through this difficult period.
