Someone called Diable Rouge on the other board posted some fixtures up, and a handful of people had a go at predicting them. I suppose this was an unofficial list not counting, or what?
I hope Ursus is okay - he must be really snowed under by work.  |

Curiously there is a link from this message board to that one but not vice versa thus those posters have no idea about our existence nor about our predictions.

I have been ill so had some spare time and just for fun I went back and tabulated our points for the weeks we made picks but did not have scores tabulated. These scores are just for the posters on this board, the guys from that other board did not care about us when they tabulated their own scores, so why should we do the same for them?
 We made picks for weeks 5-17 without tabulation, although we skipped weeks 9 and 11. I used the scores reported by RSSSF at http://www.rsssf.com/tablesi/ital2011.html#seriea and used ursus' system of 1 point for each correctly predicted result with 2 additional points if the correct score also was predicted. So this is how the final table ended up for our picks: Sporting 33 Enganche 32 libero 30 Yogi 29 Merengue 26 Mr. Pither 25 raconteur 25 Martin 24 Don Balon 21 rosarino 19 xeneize 17 Sammy Maudlin 16 Lalo 15 SuperEagle 2 So congratulations Sporting on winning the Serie A prediction contest! |
