Title: Brazilian football blogs

Check out a new blog on Brazilian football by a São Paulo based broadcaster. Most of the stuff is in English though there is the occasional article in Portuguese.

The most recent offering is: .... well, there's nearly always something new

Nice blog, thank you for the link. I don't get the chance to follow Brazilian football much so this blog and these discussions on this board are a good way to keep up to date. I'll keep an eye out for Hernanes, this two footed midfielder you have praised.

Hi Libero

thanks for the kindwords. i'll try to put a link on the post to Hernane's goal when the site is up..

the whole Wordpress site is still down (at least access to it from Brazil is impossible right now) so they must have a major problem on their hands.

The most recent offering is: is São Paulo’s rising star, Hernanes, Brazil’s best midfielder since Kaká?

I am not in Brasil but I had no trouble accessing it. As others said, nice blog and welcome to our discussion board.

As you can tell from my screen name I am an Atletico Madrid fan and we have Cleber Santana a former Santos midfielder on our team. But to be honest he isn't anything special and is just an average squad player. I wa shoping for more from him especially with Maniche leaving as Atletico could use a good central midfielder. If Hernanes is as good as you say then he won't be short of European offers when Sao Paulo decide to sell him.

maybe Wordpress has got it in for me?! haha i never had any problems before today so ....

Cléber Santana was a virtual unknown even in Brazil when Santos picked him up from Vitoria (think he was from there). he played well and scored some great goals but he was one of those players who wasn't consistent enough to do it over long periods

i managed to get back in and have added a link to his goal vs Marília. enjoy!!
