If this goes against my abilities as a mere shadow but..

We need to become more active! In game, and in forums!
I remember how active this tribe used to be, where you had to check back every couple hours to read all the new posts and at any given time there were usually 2-10 people in the chat. People were hardly ever alone. I want to see more of the tribe that I joined.

I have made this post for anyone to post suggestions on how YOU think this could happen.



NOTE: I know people are growing up, and getting jobs/school/life, but we could still be posting/recruiting when we can.

I only go on RS once a week for about five minutes because I have absolutely no enthusiasm for RS since I am a junior and being a junior means SAT.

Anywho~ We could repost/bump all the recruitment topics we've posted everywhere. I know on RSBANDB our topic is still there, but its locked. And we need EVENTS.

As you know, I planned (albeit it was really sudden) and only you (ader) signed up. It was a weird random post but it was still a type of event.

Events include SKOTM. Even if you only gain like 5k xp in the skill, at least sign up so I know you care. Otherwise, I won't bother making the big (350x95) badges anymore and I'll go back to the mini ones.

Wish I could help, I check the forums every chance I get when I'm unable to actually be on RS, just to see how it's going, but the forums seem so dead, we need more active people cause I hate being alone here.


As I may have mentioned elsewhere. I play team fortress 2 since it takes very little internet to run so if anyone is in on that throw me a line or add me to messenger if you use yahoo, cause msn tends to crash my net

It is tiem that we start to bring these forums and the clan in general back to life. Forums are basically dead, we seriously lack events, clan chat can be pretty dead at times too. We need ALL current members to start posting on forums more and helping the clan out with scheduling events and recruiting. You dont have to be on teh events team or a recruitment officer to fill those roles. All of you have the right to make up fun events and recruit your little hearts out. In fact, I actually encourage you all to do so. We need to help SoG grow into one of the top runescape clan's like it once was. That mean's A LOT more forum activity by EVERYONE. More event's with a different variety and to were all members of SoG can participate ( F2P and P2P). ALL of us should do our best to recruit new members to SoG. Whether it be ingame recruiting or on a runescape fansite or even other runescape communities..ie: Rsbandb, Zybez, Tipit, Runehq..I love this clan to bits and I and all of you members have put alot of tiem and effort into this clan. Let's not let it all go to waste. Unless forum activity and events start becoming more frequent I will resort to enforcing the old clan rules. Which means EVERY SINGLE MEMBER will be required to post a certain amount of times on these forums per month and each member will also be required to attend a certain number of events each month. Fail to do so and the consequences may be as severe as removal from the clan. So please everyone help make SoG strong again. Start posting on forums more, help set up events, and help recruit new faces into SoG!

Why don't you just enact the rule now? You already said you would do so in September. Enough time has passed with no results.

I see a conundrum. Yes, the events and post rule isnt being used, however, there are almost no events, and I don't think that kicking people from the clan is the right idea as things are now. We want more people to join and be active. I don't know if enforcing that rule is the right thing to be doing.

Maybe we could put one or two more people on events team, seeing as theres only one team of two now, and maybe require 1 event per 2 months or so, require events to make 1-2 a month or risk losing job(without good reason), and maybe start the post requirements but at a lower amount.

the problem with events that happens every time is someone makes one very few people goto it and then they make less and less events,
i think we need to fill the forums with active conests and events then spam every rs site out there with links saying to join us so when people click on them they will see all the stuff thats going on and think we are always this active.
once we have more people its easyer to get a group together and generally nicer to be in the clan chat, at the moment we are just lossing more and more people and its making things worse and worse as it happens,

also maybe delete off some of the leaving and inactivty topics and this one lol once the fourms are ready for the big people grabbing push
