I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the July 1970 Brian Redman Challenge/Can-Am Reunion at Elkhart Lake, WI. The featured marque was the Chaparrals! I was in heaven for a few days! Here is a link to a photobucket album I created so I could share with everyone:

Thanks for the memories. I was there. Been a big fan of the Chaparrals since I first saw them at Lyndale Farms in 1964. The BRICK/KICK is my favorite event of the year.
I have the Fischer 2F. Have always wanted to make the McKee Hemi. It was supposed to be Richard Petty's car, but wasn't finished in time. He went drag racing instead in '65. -------------------- Has a checkered past. Stand on it....brakes only slow yoou down. |
