Okay guys, here is what I'd like to do. We will run three races. Each race will be 104 laps long and that is how we will honor Mike with the 312.

There will be three divisions, Sprint Cars, Dirt Modifieds and Jalopies.

Jalopies can run with or without fenders. With the Sprint cars and the Dirt Modifieds, it's a run what ya brung mentallity.

Sprint cars will be of the Grant King to current World of Outlaws style kits or something that you scratch built but I would like it to be a "current stlye car" for safetys sake.

Dirt Modifieds can be anything from the old Tobias cars to something current like they run at Syracuse but please build in the safety requirements.

If anyone has any old midgets built and would like to bring them to the track with them, please, by all means do that as we will have a display of Vintage Racers out front of the track in the parking area. In fact, Vintage racers of all kinds are welcome for the display, Hobby Stocks, Late Models, Indy Roadsters, whatever you have sitting in the garage.

Just prior to the racing, there will be a Cackle Fest (of sorts). I know these cars don't make the noise that the old Top Fuel and Funny Cars do at the NHRA Cackle Fests but we will give it our best shot. We will simply line half of the cars up on the front stretch in front of the stands and the other half on the back stretch in front of the stands, fire them up and see how much noise we can make!

For the Sprint Cars, there will be a Wheelie Contest as well.

Each race will be run in two segments with a ten minute break between them so that crews can add fuel, change tires and make adjustments as needed. When the cars are pushed off, and ready for a restart, Linda Vaughn will draw a pill from the Hurst Shifter hat and the field will be inverted for the second half. How many spots will the inversion be? Only time and the car count will tell!

I know alot of you guys are building other cars for other CBP's so I have NO problem with you dragging out cars that are already built, in fact, I encourage it if that is what you need to do in order to participate.

Thanks for the participation guys!
