Hey Guys, Well i was sitting looking at a box of old 34 slammer bodies i have wondering what i could do with them or at least one anyway!! something clicked & this is were im at Lil 33'Edmunds modified body. Paul..

(I've a few of "those bodies" laying around too..........Gonna have to "copy your idea" on at least one, if that's okay!!!!!) Hey Guys, Well first of all thanks for all the emails on this one, The first is the body i used its the AMT 34 slammer modified body & il let ya know now that im not a big fan of this kit at all but its seems if ya take a knife to it ya can salvage something from it! Anyway the first thing is to cut 20 millimetres out of the centre & re join the two halfs then doc the rear end to suit & fill the gaps in with evergreen sheet!, Then remove the upper door frames & there you have it. And i thought the best thing for that body was the rubbish bin, As for a frame you can use a edmunds frame or scratch build or or even a Grant King with a top chop would work fine so guys drag out those old ugly bodies & start hacking O yer take it easy with the knifes you all know how good im at trying to take of a finger or two. It's funny that ya brought this one up. I've got an old "glue bomb' in the strip tank
that I've got similar ideas about. It's a '48 Ford Coupe. Once I start hackin' at it I'll have to post too ! It's another local track hero "Cannonball Yates" as in Roger (Robert Yates Daddy from what I understand)  -------------------- Hot Rod Tom

THIS IS TOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just BLOWN AWAY with where this one is going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A modified with an OFFY engine was WAY OUT THERE, but.............the "trackster nose", the stance, the frame, and the suspension are "RIGHT IN TUNE" with the Offy power!!!!!!!!!!!!
