If I can get done with the Dio and casting orders long enough I might try to slip one in before Atlanta.

What PAUL is talking about, would be the type of "pre-modifieds" that ran back in the 50's, and into the EARLY 60's. One of the "sites" that has THOUSANDS of pictures that you can look at (to get ideas) is the CALIFORNIA JALOPY ASSN. I "think we have TIME" on this build!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a lot of reference materials on jalopy's and would be glad to share. DJ mentioned the website for the California Jalopy Association. I was talking to Tom Luce last week, the guy who hosts the site plus published a book with 1500 photos, and he said that the site will be going down soon.Catch it while you can.

Just came back from the dungeon. What I dug up in the bone yard would take way too much time in the tank. What I did find in my stash was this ..............![]() Now I just have to decide what to do with it. -------------------- Hot Rod Tom

Thanks Paul, but I'm off and running in a little different direction. I'm goin, for a phantom car with a higher look of having a sponsor. You know, the local "Big Boy in Town Look" ! With any luck, I may post a pic later. -------------------- Hot Rod Tom
