I got another wild hair yesterday afternoon while watching the 3 Stooges marathon and got "happy" with the razorsaw "again" and this is what my warpped little mind came up with. I haven't decided whether to do the driveline as is, make it a lifted 4by, or shave the stepside fenders down and mount them on the fleetside bed and make it a dually. I'm going to "try" and see this one thru without getting side tracked on to something else???? funny-emoticon5-%2528messhits_com%2529.gif funny-emoticon5-%2528messhits_com%2529.gif funny-emoticon5-%2528messhits_com%2529.gif

I have actually seen a 1:1 60's Dodge pickup done like that around here.
Impressive work.

Here it are in rough primer. Got the frames cut and spliced together same for the interior. The interior will have the seats and full dash and door panels from a 99 Silverado with a little work of course. Got the door lines scribed still have a lot of fine sanding and putty work to do. The rear is stock highth and the front is dropped 4 scale inches. I'm building this as what I'd like for a daily driver.

Clutch,
I just look fast brother. There are close to 22 hours in the 2 days it took to get to this point. This is my way of dealing with health issues by staying busy working on different projects. and I agree I'd like to see this cast, as a matter of fact if any of our resin casters are interersted in doing this or any of the crewcabs I'd be more than happy to help the cause, just holler.

While this is meant to be a daily driver it's also going to have a little atittude, with a little 396 with 2/4's on it, headers with suppertrapp mufflers, all going thru an automatic transmission. I got all of the 99 Silverado interior to fit including the floor pan so the ride inside will be comfortable.

I made a little progress today and airbrushed a couple of coats of Testors M.F. Purple and I "think" that this will be a one color truck, I'll decide in a few days.
