Sonic Unleashed

A new main series Sonic game is finally happening. It's gonna be on the Wii and the 360 (and possibly the PS3). What's so amazing about all this is that it's a 2.5D adventure like Sonic Rivals! From the looks of it, this could be the Sonic game we've all been waiting for. I don't really get where the whole werewolf thing comes in at but I'm thinking it will be similar to Shadows chaotic powers making Sonic stronger, faster, and more destructive. Those screenshots look gorgeous, I can't wait for more information on this. I've been wanting a 2.5D Sonic for a long time and it's finally here!

Just so everyone knows, I'm not passing any further judgement on this game because I don't particularly want to be let down by Sonic Team AGAIN. First impressions look great but the Werewolf thing could ruin a great Sonic experience. So yeah, that'll be the last you hear from me on this game. Don't let that stop you from posting though

The werewolf(Dark Sonic for me), could ruin it unless it is implemented properly. I hope it's an optional form that you can take on, I'd rather not see a cute blue furball turn into a ferocious monster.

If the werewolf is just a more powerful sonic (i.e more abilties and enhaced speed) then I don't really care about the trasformation.

Sorry to bump this, but has anyone seen the new Unleashed trailer? ITt looks like the game is shaping up.

I take that back. Unleashed looks absolutely incredible. GameSpot's hands-on is amazing to watch and the Werehog gameplay looks really fun. It reminds me of Dynasty Warriors which is never a bad thing

Exactly. It's a back-to-basics SEGA game. It just looks plain fun and that's what games should be. I love the look of the Werehog element, it looks silly but that just reminds me of what SEGA games should look like. SEGA have some crazy games under their belt so why not add a crazy element to the Sonic series?

Exactly. So long as its fun to play, I'm okay with it. I mean at the end of the day thats what really matter right?
