i'm giving it serious consideration as to painting my index finger with the american flag. after we didn't lose, i have a tiny bit of hope left me in that we could possibly advance further into the world cup.

I think I had bad luck with my bottle of Mad as a Hatter because it took me a good three coats and it was a horrible pain to get off. :cry: It's so pretty though so I still use it, haha.

That sucks Kaurin D: Like I said, I was fully expecting to use at least two good coats to get an even covering. If you just dab it on your nail instead of brushing it on like a traditional nail polish maybe that will help, that's what I did.

I'm really starting to hate OPI and there limited edition nail polish tie in with movies :T

The winter/holiday 2010 limited edition colors for the movie 'Burlesque.' NGL, I want all the glittery ones.

I thought so, too, Hina but then I tried them on at Ulta and they looked nice with my skin tone. So I'm gonna try and by at least the 4 colors in the middle. I already have too many green polishes.

I really wish OPI didn't do so many limited edition colors too. Those Burlesque polishes look delicious!

I don't know if any of you have looked, but at one of the Public grocery stores I go to they have started selling a small selection of OPI nail polish for about $7.50 a bottle. I think ours has around maybe 30 or so colors? It made me like going grocery shopping for a while. XD

I don't like it when any company does the limited edition colors. I don't understand it, money-wise. Why let others make double, sometimes quadruple what they originally sold for? You would think the company would want to milk a certain color for all it's worth by re-releasing it. IDK, I'm stupid when it comes to finances. This is why I'm an art major.

What grocery store, Kaurin? If I'm lucky, they might have a store here. I really hate having to go to our only Ulta store which is in our mall :T

Publix-- it's a chain grocery that is apparently only here in the South as I have learned by going to their website. I wish we had an Ulta here, but the closest one is an hour and a half away. ;_; I hate living in the middle of nowhere.

They all look fantastic on. Melt in the Sun is probably my favorite. At least for now since it's the one I'm wearing. There are two more, which I may go back and buy just to have the complete set but atm, I'm not really interested in them.

Sally Hansen also released a new summer line. It's similar to their HD polish line, only a little glittery look to them:

It's actually a clear glittery polish that looks cute by itself, but it looks amazing on over black polish, like in the picture. It's a discontinued polish and I paid a discontinued price for a bottle of it =_=''

Oooh, I love that melt down color. I am very fond of red shades. Can never have too many.

Does anyone have any tips for making your nail polish actually last more than 2 days? When I got a manicure she used OPI products and I did all the same steps she did with the same products and I can never get it to last, but when she did it I didn't have a chip for about a week and a half. x.x

2-4 thin coats of polish rather than 1-2 think ones.

Let each coat dry before applying the next one.

Invest in a decent clear top coat. I like Sally Hansen's Strengthening Base + Top Coat. Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat is considered to be one of the best out there...

I don't do anything particularly fancy when it comes to chip prevention. I always use Orly's Top 2 Bottom, which is both a base and top coat. The base coat works as an excellent bonder and the top coat works to prevent chipping as well.

Lippmann's Bad Romance. I love purple nail polish, the darker the better and the glitter is just an added bonus. It's $18 a bottle but purple + glitter + name of my favorite Gaga song = well worth it.
