Season greetings and welcome. As years before, we will be having our annual Christmas exchange for all forum member participants. Unlike previous years though, this year we are going a different route in regards to what we will be exchanging.

This year we will be exchanging Christmas cards via mail. I think this takes the pressure off of having to find time to make/find something to give in the exchange.

Obviously, personal information about one's self will be needed. So if you are not comfortable with this, please, do not join. This is purely voluntary and not a requirement. I'd like for everyone participating to be of age (usually 18 yrs and over in most states/countries) just for ethical purposes but if you are underage and would like to take part, please please please! get the OK from your parents/guardians before you give out any personal info. I don't want any parents storming my front door demanding my blood for soliciting their minor.

So, I've decided that is going to be very informal. I'll be giving out people's addresses as they sign up. That way I'm not waiting until December 24th to get a list of people and THEN send out a list of addresses. So, as you sign up, I'll give you a list of addresses of the people I have so far.

As you sign up, please PM me your contact info, that way I can get your addresses out ASAP to the other members. And so that I'm not chasing after you through PMs and harassing you...

I love that all the people in the exchange so far are in different countries. (almost all on different continents!)

I sent out my cards today! Everyone gets one :grin: Hopefully they arrive before christmas (and that I wrote the addresses correctly :zip: ) Tell me when you get them!

I apologize in advance to Hina-chan, I wanted to fill up some space in the card and I drew a really bad picture lol, so then I drew another to balance it, then I felt I had to draw in everyone's card so keep them, they'll be worth millions one day! :eek:

i loved it, especially the drawing of hunni and usa-chan :eek: and i am so jealous of your print, kana-chan! i must have stared at my address on the envelope for 10 minutes, fascinated by your near print handwriting @0@

i send out my cards yesterday but it may take a while to get their respective destinations since the mailman said that they are swamped this season. so i apologize in advance for the tardiness :cry:

I think I'm sending mine out tomorrow. (or wednesday) And I was doubting they'd arrive on time but if kana's managed to get from Australia in 5 days maybe mine will arrive. :peek:

I'm the same. American addresses seem so short compared to UK ones. Like 3 lines compared to 6. 0.0

Kana, I received your card on the 14th! <3 And your pictures weren't bad, and I could read your writing, but I'm terrified y'all want be able to read mine because even i can't read it sometimes.

i just sent out mine today.. and they said it will take two weeks.. T_T i'm so sorry they'll be late.. (tell me when you get them.. )

The good thing about Post Offices are it's all a manual process, at least here it is anyway, and they usually put it in the right area.

I'm shocked that Hina-chan you got yours so quickly, the post offices at the moment are on strike so mail is suppose to be really slow at the moment, heaps of people were complaining.

I'm hoping everyone should receive their cards some time next week. There's no strike in our postal system that I am aware of, our mail is naturally this slow =_= Even more so during the holiday season.

I pray to God that I wrote everyone's addresses correctly. I am always confused by all the excessive numbers and lines *~* (is only use three -lined addresses)

edit: YAY!!! I got Hina-pyon and Nessa's cards in the mail today (\(^0^)/) I seriously can't get over how everyone has such neat handwriting. I feel so terrible that you guys have to sit there and try to guess what the hell I wrote =_=;;;

btw, speaking of glee, do you know the episode where they sang and danced to a remix of halo and walking on sunshine? we did that during our year end party at the company.. good thing they didn't make me wear any skirt..

dude, it's been like two weeks. those mofo cards of mine should have already reached someone. and since i haven't gotten any 'return to sender' envelopes, i am assuming i addressed them correctly.

i have always wanted to go to australia. even more so after i saw the movie 'austraila.' the landscape in that movie was breathtaking. plus. i hear you guys have AWESOME beer in bottles the size of pple's heads :D
