yay! me a fan of Hikki eversince her debut album, First Love. cant believe that album is still the top selling album ever in Japan even after how many years had passed. Hikki is really a rare talent.
i am more to jpop nowadays and Hikki is my top favs beside Namie, Ayu, OLIVIA and Tommy. the reason i worship her music is that the lyrics she wrote are so meaningful and deep. not many songwriter can do that.

Yah! Finally someone made an Utada's thread. I am a big fan of her. Her voice and styles are very unique. Some of her songs such as Passion, Be My Last, and dareka no negai ga kanaukoro are really hard to sing and I think very few artists can pull it off as good as she does. Anyway, I'm just glad to know that not just me but many SVLoyalty members like her too. I'm not alone :lol:

yeah, I heard a preview of the original on Utada-online.net. Was it me or her voice is off in some parts? I usuually don't like ballad (ex: I like Distance more than Final Distance) but I gotta admit, I like the ballad version of The Flavor of Life better than the original. Hopefully that will prove me wrong when I listen to the whole original song.
