Back by (somewhat XD) popular demand! The annual Forum Exchange! For those of you who remember, we had something similar last year in the old SV forum (headed by SV alum en-chan and pie-chan) of having a "secret santa" exchange within our lovely forum community. So we will continue the tradition in SVL and hopefully it will be bigger and better than the last. So come in and join! Everything you need to know about the exchange is listed below. Rules and Guidelines

(1) You must leave a post stating that you would like to participate along with 3-5 things that you would like to receive or a list of things that you like (see sample post below).

(2) Also, you must list what you are capable of doing. I ask only this because I don't want to give someone a person that asked for a banner/avatar set to someone that doesn't know how to make graphics. Please list anything that you believe to be something you can give someone else. It doesn't have to be anything fancy (again, please see sample post below).

(3) After I have PMed you your secret SVL member, you may choose to pick another member you wish to give a gift to. This was an option in last years so I leave this open to those of you who want to. Just PM me whoever it is that you want and I'll remove them from the list.

(4) I've been trying to find a reasonable exchange day because I know a lot of us are busy with end of semester things and may or may not have a chance to start on our gifts right away. Regardless I am aiming for an exchange day of the 25th but am going to extend the deadline until the 1st of January. So any time between those two dates should be fine. If this doesn't work for you, please let me know so we can work something else out for you (for those of you might be away during break, ect)Also, if you don't have the time to make something, please don't sign up just so you can receive something.

(5) You will have until this coming Tuesday (the 11th) to decide whether or not you would like to participate. That will give you two weeks until Christmas if you wish to give your gift the day of.

err well Im not talented in anything TT____TT so the most I could do is

- Find pics, wallpapers, graphics etc from whatever it is you like (except yaoi/yuri, smut etc xD Im still innocent) -- my collection of graphics consists mostly of anime & manga-related stuff and some drama & music bands/groups stuff ^^;;
- Find & recommend good fanfics for you... tho depending on what you like & what I've read (most are anime-related & have something to do with the couples I like OR Korean-related fanfics like the ones on Soompi etc.)
- Try and find shoujo mangas for you
- Try and help find music for you ** mostly C-pop tho & anime songs ^^;;

I'm so sorry for not putting up the details for the exchange yet but it's the final week before semester exams, so lots of papers/projects/presentations due before finals start ((e.e)) But I *promise* to have everything up and running no later than this coming Wednesday after my last final v_v;;

So for all you that haven't posted what they want or things that they like please do so. Oh, and also list what you're willing to make/offer for the exchange (ie whether or not you can make graphics, draw, or like joji-chan saying to write a fanfic of your favorite anime/manga characters, just things you are capable of making/doing). I'll be using all this info when picking who everyone gets.

I can draw and write oneshots. Also, I'm willing to buy something that somebody wants. Basically, it depends on the person's wants. I'm ready to go the extra mile~ <3. I can also probably learn how to photoshop, but I'm not too great at it XD;.

I'm a big fan of JRock (Especially Alice Nine, Gazette, and 12012) so anything related to that is always good ^^. I also like oneshots, and drawings are good too. Basically anything is fine~.

This sounds like fun. I didn't get to participate last year so this time, I hope I'm not too late. Please count me in if it's still possible.

Firstly, my apologies for having very limited skills to offer. I'm one of the really untalented people here.

These are all I can offer:
1. I am able to recommend and send you a really good ebook OR upload a whole ebook series (vampire or supernatural/romance/medical thriller) :grin:
2. Alternatively, I can write a one-shot fanfic about you and an anime character of your choice - hopefully a popular one) OR even about any favourite anime couple you wish.
3. if all else fails and there was no other choice, I can draw something by hand, take a pic and bluetooth it in. (This borrowed PC doesn't have a printer or scanner attached to it).
4. If none of the above goes down well, I can upload some of my classical music for you.


In exchange, I won't ask for much :grin:
1. I love all things from D.Gray-man series most particularly Kanda Yuu. So anything with him in it (any 1 of either icon or sig/wallpaper/fanart/fanfic/scanlated doujin) would be lovely.

1. I love SailorMoon, so any sounds, music, or sig/av sets are most welcome. As is anything on the Live Action or any of the actresses music works from either the anime or live action.

2. I love J-Pop even though I don't know what the singers are saying. I am looking for Kyoko Fukada, Erika Sawajiri, and Yoshida Brothers. I am also trying to gather a collection of songs that are either sung all in english or are mainly sung in english by any J-Pop or other Asian artists.

3. I would also like to get some Lee Hyori, and Rain music. There is also a chinese girl band that I think is called Cherry Bomb but I'm not sure.

4. Anything that you love enough to share with me, so long as it isn't yaoi (because I'm not into that stuff), contains swearing or nudity, or something that will kill my computer.

Ignoring mix's incoherent babbling, I've sent out PM's to everyone participating in the exchange. Please look back through previous posts to see what your member would like (that is assuming that they have posted a list already).

If you have a specific question pretaining to your member (ie if you're writing/drawing/making graphic and want to know if they have a particular image/manga character/whatever they like) please feel free to PM me and I will find out for you ASAP.

Any other general questions that won't reveal who you have can be addressed here.

Also, there is the issue of some pple not listing what they would like. I can't make a deadline for that because I'm not sure when everyone gets out of school. For some, this is their last week of classes, and for others, it's not until the 21st. So if you received someone with no list, I will leave it up to your discretion to decide how long you want to wait. If nothing else, just give something that you would like. It's the thought/effort rather than the gift itself that counts.

- Drawings - very basic, but they have been called uber cute in the past - or I can enlist the help of my friend who is amazing at art to do something (probably a better idea).
- Manga uploads, although the computer I'm attempting to use at the moment is veeeeery basic so bare in mind that it won't be loads and music is probably a no-no

In hindsight, I guess I should be more specific about what I want. I s'pose it's not polite to leave folk having to guess. Here's stuff I like.

I do like me some hide. PVs and lives of the pink spider would be cool. I have all the albums, but no videos.

Dir en Grey stuff like that would be perfection, as well.

Or, y'know . . . if you can scrounge up any e-books from the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, that'd be good. Go through Mero if you need to know which ones, I guess.

I've also been itchin' to start reading Stephen King's Dark Tower series. The e-book for Gunslinger is a good idea. Or, better yet, if you can find a scan of the "Gunslinger Born" graphic novel that just came out. That way I don't have to read anything and can just look at pictures.

Of course, any and all art, writings, avvies, sigs etc. made by the giver in question will be greatly appreciated!
