It makes for a nice look. CG has its place,, but it certainly shouldn't be the only animation around.

I know what you mean. I can't imagine anything like the Nightmare before Christmas working particularly well done in the CG they had back then. CG works best not when used as the animation itself, but on top of something else to enhance it. I just like live actors/models.

I'm a firm believer that the best CG is the sort that you never notice. It blends in so seamlessly with everything else that you don't even know it's there.
