NEXT MAJOR DEMO --
1st July 09 - We are taking it back to the source! Outside Westminster City Hall. Be there, this demo will be on the eve for objections against the "variation" of the "experiment". Westminster Council have changed the scheme which means by law they have to have a new objection period, exactly like the last one. So we need those objections IN (details on how to object coming soon) and we NEED TO SHOW THEM by coming out on the street on 1st July 09 that THIS PARKING TAX IS NOT WANTED. Keep on spreading the word! |

Geoff and Gordon, 'll be by the rolls royce building.
The next official demonstration. 9th June 09. Meet Berkeley Square at 5.45pm on Tuesday 9th June 2009, for a tighter, better regulated, and definitely more congesting demo, which will leave at 6.20pm and head toward Piccadilly Circus, south on Haymarket and round via Pall Mall back to Regent Street. This will keep the group together with the ultimate aim of gridlocking ourselves on this "Piccadilly Circus/Pall Mall" LOOP. There will be a pre-demo briefing in Berkeley Square by the campaign committee to explain everything, all instructions will be loud and clear. View demo route here (more details soon). There will be more details to follow regarding end points and post-demo refreshments. We will let you know as soon as this is arranged, any questions you can contact us using the email below or contact us through the campaign website. Be warned - mayhem and congestion may occur! For demo publicity, leaflets, posters etc.. visit this page: http://www.notobikeparkingfees.com/download/ PS. There will be as usual a pre-demo gathering and ride from the Ace Cafe, meeting at 4pm. |
