Seth shook his head. "You misunderstand, madamoiselle," He rose an eyebrow, letting go of her once she was inside. "I only mean that it wouldn't be a quick death; you would suffer for a long while before the sun finally killed you. Like being burned alive."
He let the matter drop after her plea for solitude. He drew the curtains shut over the windows, the cloth thick and black, to keep the coming sunlight away.
"I leave you alone for the night," he told her quietly. "Get some rest, once the sun rises.. And we will go on the hunt tomorrow," he paused for a moment, and then added, "We'll go out to the countryside; goats and cows are agreeable to feed from."
He wasn't going to make her drink the blood of humans.. But that wasn't to say he planned to stop her if she tried. The idea was to keep her from running into any humans, though.. Otherwise she'd just hate herself even more.
