The site is PG-13.
(a) No god-moding, UNLESS another person asks you to do so, but they HAVE to post a note ooc for you to be allowed.

ex.
person 1:
ooc:can someone pick my character up and toss her out the window?

ic: Elli paced back and forth, making comments that had no purpose but to annoy everyone, getting her close to being kicked out.

person 2:
ooc: sure, i'll have Rayn do that for you.

ic: Fed up, Rayn unfolded his azure wings, taking to the air, he snatched up Elli and soared out the window with her, hovering over a ravine, where he promptly let go and watched her fall.


(b) No powerplaying, UNLESS it is ok with ALL active members of the roleplay (active being defined as having posted within 3 weeks from whatever day you ask) and each must post in plain view that they agree, this will only be for an exceedingly short time, say, one battle, or one hour.

ex. (there are 3 people in this roleplay, so-)

person 1:
ooc: does anyone mind if i have my character powerplay for a bit?
ic: She spun, slashing thought an enemy that had come up behind her, sword gleaming darkly, coated in blood, but just as soon, another had taken its place, distracting her as a second came from behind, unseen in the mass of bodies on the battle field. It raised its war axe and slashed her back clean open just as she had cleaved the other one's head open, she fell to the ground wincing, if only she hadn't given her potion to Rayn...

person 2:
ooc: sure! Its fine by me and my character, Dwyliana!

person 3:
ooc: sure, I'll have my character toss you that potion.

person 1:
ooc: Thanks!
ic: She reached frantically for the potion, it might only buy her an hour or two, but she could do a lot of damage in a short time. Just a bit closer! She grabbed the old black flask and gulped down the contents without second thought. An insane power spread to all her limbs, and she began to devastate the enemy ranks effortlessly.

(c) no metagaming- metagaming is defined as using out of characcter information in character, such as thoughts.

ex.
Character 1:
He thought about attempting to stab him to start the fight, catching him off guard, he said, "well what if i don't like the way you're running things?"

Other character: (metagaming example, the character shouldn't know about the first character's thoughts)

He thought the man would stab him, and as he dove to him, he already had put up his guard, and threw the man back, stabbing him in turn, "Ha!"

(d) Always use proper punctuation, this being:

"quotation marks for speech"
{these or :these: for thoughts, italics also work}
end punctuation (such as: , . ? !)
((ooc can be used as double parentheses))

rules regarding inactivity and the response procedure:

If you become inactive in an active rp for over two weeks without any note of why, (this can be prior, but they MUST be restated upon return. you can use this topic an example would be my band camp/homework or peter's faulty computer and university work, etc.) you will receive an e-mail.
this e-mail will be coming from the board and will have the board's name in the title. it is giving you precisely one week to post, or your characters will temporarily become non-player characters until you return. anything that happens to them in that time if up to the other rp'ers, and you can not protest, since you had approximately a month to come in and post.
you can start rping again with them as soon as you get back.
to request one of these e-mails to be sent, we need:
username of person in question,
and
title of the rp(s)
