The message board has no space to host pictures. Most folks use personal web space (if you have AOL, Earthlink, Comcast or most of their competitors) you get some amount of space you can store files (including pictures) on. Then you can post a link to the picture either with a straight up http link or using the "IMG" tag. The "http://" and "IMG" buttons on the page you compose messages on allow you to put the link or picture in your message.
