Forecast: Winter is here! Snow will begin to fall, but it doesn't ever snow very hard in Red Forest, or stay for very long. Expect a few blizzards here and there, and cold, as well. It's mating season, so wolves with mates...you know what to do. If you want puppies, PM stellacat.

Other: This year's pups should now be between 9-12 months of age. Please change this in your siggys. They are pretty much as tall as they are going to get, but they still can fill out muscle-wise. They should be able to hunt on their own, and be pretty independent, though they are still young and learning. This is their first winter, after all.

Mating season is here! PM stellacat if you want puppies and await further instructions.

* Board Offline

It has now come time for Red Forest to close. We had a good run. I know that this site was open for at least two years, though I'm betting more than that, and there aren't many sites out there which can boast such a thing.

We started out on avidgamers, and I joined the site as puppy Amos, though I remember only getting to post once on that board, before we moved to proboards, I believe. It was then that the site was handed over to me by the head admin, and again we moved, to this place, to Invisionfree, where we really really grew to be a great site. There were not very many literate wolf rps out there, but here we were! And we stayed alive for so long.

Really, it has been a good ride. I know many people learned how to rp on REFO, and that alone is one thing great about this site. There were many other things, as well, but to grow up and mature on a board, that is something special. It's time for the site to close, now, though. And no, I will not re open it, or start a new Red Forest.

*Do not Advertise on the C-Box. Instead, post all advertisements in the correct forum. That forum can be found here.

*Keep content PG, as we do not want our site getting deleted because young eyes saw something "inappropriate" on the C-Box, and their parents complained to Invisionfree.
