PLOTTING PAGES.
put all those pretty plot pages here and get some dramarama crackin'. you got your friends over here, your lovers over there, and that one enemy-turned-friend-turned-lover-turncoat way out in the corner.

OWL POST.
send a letter to your friends, your enemies... and maybe even your mother and father. though don't tell anyone about the latter: you'll get teased mercilessly.

DUNGEONS & SUBLEVELS.
beneath the ground floor at hogwarts is a twisting network of corridors, mixed with a few classrooms and common rooms. few students come down here if they don't have to: filch doesn't seem to keen on keeping anything too clean, and the floor looks a little corroded from all the spills around the potions classroom.

GROUND FLOOR.
the first thing one sees when they get into hogwarts, the ground floor has a large set of double-doors leading into the castle. this level undoubtedly has some of the most traffic of any other floor, as the great hall and entrance hall are located here. outside of the great hall, students can take a gander at how the houses stand in points.

FIRST FLOOR.
arguably one of the more boring floors of hogwarts. the first floor has a large amount of classrooms, each for a different class.

SECOND FLOOR.
though a little vacant of classrooms, the second floor is home to moaning myrtle, the resident teenaged ghost. a few empty corridors and the charms classroom is really all you'll find here. really, though; use your imaginations.

THIRD FLOOR.
a little more shiny than the other floors. the third floor has the trophy room, which most students like to look at for inspiration and to see what records they'll have to beat. the armor room is one of filch's favorites, as cleaning the armor is arguably one of the best punishments.

FOURTH FLOOR.
students also flock to the fourth floor for the simple fact that the library is housed here-- people like to study between classes and meet friends. if you look hard enough, you might be able to come across the mirror of erised. beyond that, there are a few classrooms scattering the hallways, as well as a bathroom girls flock to.

FIFTH FLOOR.
there isn't much of interest on the fifth floor, unless you're a prefect. the special bathroom reserved just for prefects is on this floor. professor slughorn keeps a potions supply up here, though students have been known to sneak away ingredients. flobberworm mucus chaser to firewhisky, anyone?

SIXTH FLOOR.
classrooms, classrooms, and more classrooms. the hufflepuffs and slytherins are often quite annoyed to have class all the way up here, which seems to happen quite often. some of the more interesting classes are up here, though, so it seems to be worth it.

SEVENTH FLOOR.
the final floor of hogwarts. luckily for the students, there aren't a surplus of classrooms to tread up to. the gryffindors have the entrance to their common room somewhere around here, and there's a special room that will turn into whatever a student could want.

THE TOWERS.
being a castle, hogwarts has several towers on all sides of the building. the astronomy and west tower (the owlery) are the ones most frequented by students, though ravenclaws have their own tower with their common room.

THE HOG'S HEAD.
the hog's head is another pub, which often attracts a more unusual and private clientele than the three broomsticks, and many of the customers hide their faces. the hanging sign on the front of the pub has a severed boar's head, leaking blood onto the white cloth around it. the pub itself is filthy, with the floor covered with layers of dirt, and the windows smeared with so much grime that little light gets through. the main floor is a single room, but there are additional rooms on the upper floors.

THE POST OFFICE.
the post office is filled with at least two to three hundred owls, ranging from great grey owls to tiny scops (the latter for "local deliveries only"), hooting down from colour-coded shelves, which are coded based on how quickly they will arrive at their destination.

ZONKO'S JOKE SHOP.
the most famous joke shop in the wizarding world, zonko's joke shop has been used time and time again by practical joke enthusiasts. it's a hit with most hogwarts students, although most of the products are usually confiscated by a professor as soon as one steps back inside the school, but there's no harm in trying to get away with it, is there?

MADAM PUDDIFOOT'S TEA SHOP.
the most romantic hang out in hogsmeade, madam puddifoot's tea shop, is prim and proper, and with the best tea in the area. did we mention that it's 'the place' to get kissed? ...for some, anyway. it's one of the more kid-friendly places in hogsmeade, though families rarely traverse high street anymore.

GRINGOTTS.
a snowy white building, near the intersection of knockturn alley and diagon alley, gringotts towers over all neighbouring shops. wizards and witches keep their money and other valuables in vaults that are protected by very complex and strong security measures. the vaults themselves extend for miles under london and are accessible through rough stone passageways and then by means of magic carts that travel speedily along the tracks.

THE LEAKY CAULDRON.
the leaky cauldron is a pub and inn for wizards, located on the muggle street of charing cross road in london, and offering food, drinks and rooms to rent. it was founded by Daisy Dodderidge in fifteen hundred "to serve as a gateway between the non-wizarding world and diagon alley."

SAINT MUNGO'S.
founded by famous wizard healer mungo bonham, st mungo's was established to treat magical injuries or illnesses endemic to the wizarding world. to enter the premises, one has to step through the window of what appears to be a derelict department store called purge & dowse limited, and whilst the exteriors of the hospital are red-bricked and dirty, inside everything is very neat and looks exactly as a hospital should.

KNOCKTURN ALLEY.
leading off from the more savoury diagon alley, knockturn alley is a dark and seedy alleyway in london to which muggles have no access, and which is frequented largely by dark wizards. many of the shops in knockturn alley are devoted to the dark arts; the largest is borgin & burkes, which sells sinister and dangerous objects.
